Bless your soul! I've been looking for an accurate cover like this ever since the album came out! I love that you added all the details that I always pay attention to while listening to the song, the base line and the high notes for example. Amazing!! 💕
There are times where I wonder if I should just give up on learning the piano, but then I find videos like this that once again gives me hope! It inspires me, and gives me something to work towards! I hope I one day can be as good as you, I still have a lot to learn (like seriously) but I won’t give up!
Never give up, you will always have ups and downs while playing an instrument, but if you keep going you will feel really proud over yourself. I have been playing piano in nearly seven years and I have wanted to stop playing more than one time. But I always goes back to the piano. I love playing the piano and without it, I would't be me. So keep going, even when you feel like you want to stop. I will hold my thumbs for you!
Something I’ve noticed in this song (the original and this cover) is that it’s sung/played in a minor except the chorus which is sung/played in a major. This is because when you lie, you’re voice gets higher.
I used to played piano when i was 9 and at the age of 12 i started to stop because I've lost motivation. And now im 14 and starting to play piano back because of this kind of video.. It motivates me so much and im so thankful😭💜
If you don’t mind me asking, how did you get so good? Does it just come with years of practice? I’ve been trying to learn, do you recommend any programs or lessons or are you self taught? Amazing cover, by the way.
As someone who learned to play the piano via TH-cam videos and such things, unless you take lessons, it's not gonna be very well polished. I was able to play "Hungarian Dance" No. 5 in G major after 3 years of work. Compared to a friend of mine who took lessons at the same time as I did, it's not great. She was able to play the same song 10 months into her lessons. I began with simple songs and moved up little by little. Learning alone is hard, but it pays off. My parents were never able to afford piano lessons so in school, I snuck into the music room and practiced there almost every day. My skills don't compare to someone who's taken classes but I like to think I'm decent, at least from teaching myself. Don't give up! Practice is what will make you stronger! Fighting!!
Also as someone who has played piano before, piano lessons are the best option, but if you teach yourself how to read notes properly (not just the stick with a dot but with all the tempos and rhythms etc.) you should be able to play pretty decently with a good flow, my tip is: teach yourself the melody first (right hand) then the base (left) and then combine them, that always works for me
