How much time entire process took? And once you shared your resume after how many days you heard back from recruiter?

The entire process took around 4.5 months but mine was delayed because I asked for some time to prepare, plus new year came so google employees were on leave and interviews couldn't be scheduled. Roughly it would take I think 2-2.5 months normally. Recruiter response was immediate.

Recently, a recruiter from Google has reached out to me and I have my first interview scheduled for 29th April. Just a quick question - during the interview if I get stuck and I am not able to come up with ideas, will the interviewer give some hints? If yes, does it get counted negatively?

Try to not take hints if possible but if you are completely stuck generally they help just keep sharing your thoughts convey everything. If they don’t share then you can just directly ask them this is what I am thinking can you please correct me if I am wrong. Carefully see they must be offering hints but not directly.

Thank you very much, this is useful. One additional question I have is - do they ask you questions based on your current rating on CF/CC? Example: if I am an Expert, will they ask me a hard DP/graph question and a map/greedy related question to someone who is a pupil?

@@shivamsingh3727 no it’s not like that. They have their own bank of questions they just pick one and ask.

Hey Vrinda, reaching out to you again for more help :) - so I had my first interview round today, they call it "telephonic round" for some reason. I am confident that it went well. Do you know, usually, how long does the recruiter take to respond back on whether they are moving forward or not?
