Also I apologise for the long ass wait guys, my hiatus set me back like a month and plus ghidorah is a pain to animate so it would have naturally taken longer too. I'm getting back to schedule already so don't worry. But other than that, this animation was pretty fun to make, enjoy!

I like the understanding that Shimo just doesn't want to fight and isn't in it to the death like Godzilla and Kong are. To clarify, I do absolutely think Shimo COULD win if given the time, but it doesn't feel in her character to fight to the death. The GxK novelization makes clear she's basically a walking tank Goji can basically only tickle and shove around even in his evolved form, but she also really just doesn't want to fight and doesn't seem to care that much about pride or position. It's also questionable what effect her breath would have on Ghidorah, also going off the novelization it doesn't just create ice, it's made up of a unique form of radiation that slows down molecules even to the point of absolute zero, so it's possible she could slow Ghidorah's regeneration quite a abit.
But like I said, Shimo is both in film and novel shown not to be someone who overly cares about the outcome of fights, she's rather juvenile in behavior, so I really like this ending where Ghidorah being as unkillable as he is makes it so she just takes the bow rather than risk dragging things out.

I can't help but be remembered of that time where all the Monsterverse directors were cooking each other and one of them said "Let them fight"
First it was Kevin (Left head, Ghidorah's perspective) in the King Titan face off. Now it was Ichi (Middle head) against Shimo. Perhaps the next time Ghidorah has a face off and get's one head detached it'll be Ni (Right head, Ghidorah's perspective).

I like to see kaiju/titan fights which end like this, where it's akin to how a lot of fights with irl large apex predators would go. Both parties decide that the fight isn't worth risking their lives after a certain point and just walk it off.
I also like how it abides by the strengths of both fighters.
Shimo's physically stronger to a significant degree and retains that edge even after Ghidorah amps himself. Her resiliance also allows her to keep up with a regenerating opponent when both are injured. Both her strength and resiliance are demonstrated when she gets back into the fight after Ghidorah slams her head with an electricity charged melee attack and pins him to the ground again.
Ghidorah has skill, intelligence, speed and a wide toolset of abilities (including regeneration and flight to name a few) to deal significant damage. Ghidorah's ability to outlast Shimo is shown when he consistently regenerates from the damage dealt to him.
Ultimately the most straightforward wincons (win conditions) for both are that Shimo freezes Ghidorah solid (which is implied to have happened canonically) or Ghidorah outlasts Shimo through regen and deals enough damage to eventually kill her.
Both Ghidorah and Shimo are absolute powerhouses and forces to be reckoned with. Either of them would easily demolish some of the other high tier titans like Tiamat, MUTO-Prime or Mechagodzilla.

Shimo ripping ghidorah's head before freezing and shattering it in her mouth was epic. Honestly, I think she should have won when she pulled that ice age attack. Still, amazing work man. The winner was ambiguous, but shimo suffered less damage.

it mightve not looked like it, but shimo was almost torn to bits man. she was burnt, bit, shocked and electrified, seeing that even though ghidorah still has one head, hes still willing to fight and still has energy left.

@@The-recolored-clone3354 movie Ghidorahs physical attacks never did anything to Godzilla (aside from that one scene right before mothra showed up) plus as you mentioned using his wings in battle, which would be smart given their strong enough to generate and drag hurricanes bigger then Brazil. And that dragon lord placidusax ass attack towards the end? Would’ve been really cool to see (and actually effective on Godzilla)

The use of 2D and 3D animation is *absolutely peak cinema*, and the way you now use real life-looking elements like rain, snow, lightning and so much more, makes it so, freaking *GODLY*

NGL i was expecting Shimo to win and froze Ghidorah alive as shotout to KOTM and making this fight a What If scenario of how Ghidorah end up frozen on the artic, But still the animation was top tier and Ghidorah is one of my favorite kaijus so im not complaining 👍.

1:20 for some odd reason, i love how her tail spikes glow to her thagomizers, and not the other way around. Small detail, but i love it so much.
Also, great work here !! I can see tons of improvement. Dont get me wrong, youre already good, but you just keep cooking. I love your detail to Ghidorah having black blood, and i love how you make his horns a darker color. Some people miss that. I also love how you actually get Shimu to look accurate to the film! Most people just go for concept arts, or fan made designs, but its actually accurate !! Great job!!

This fight was absolutely mesmerizing, your take on the visuals is incredible man. I love the way the fight took place in the arctic reminiscing on ghidorah’s awakening in KOTM and shimo causing the ice age

He only needs radioactivity when he is severely damaged, such as in the neck or legs.

From what I saw in a comment, Shimo's reason for retreating was to protect the world and not want to prolong the battle, right? because I can say that if he had continued the battle he would have won. So if he could tanked Godzilla's spiral heat ray without any injury, I don't even think Ghidorah's rays would tickle him. These rays did not cause any wounds on Godzilla's body, only Amped Ghidorah's beams hurt him, but there was still no injury. But I can easily say that this is one of your best animations so far and you are definitely the best in this business.🎉💫🔥

After seeing my favorite kaiju losing to a modified shin I was so sad, I think they make ghidorah much weaker than he is and that makes me a little sad but possibly it's just in my head I watched this video thinking he would losing but I was much happier when I was surprised and as always your animations are still perfect

This animation is just beauty. I love the camera work and the little details,This was truly spectacular.
My only real complaints are that Ghidora wouldn’t last too long especially with Shimos breath fully charged. And Shimo being A TANK, Ghidora would be annoying tho.
I also am happy with the depiction of them, even tho the outcome isn’t what I see personally and think she would ragdoll Ghidora and would destroy him.

Ik that im gonna be hit with the 🤓at least one time but ghidorah is dead when his middle head dies because when godzilla ripped off "kevin" in the sea fight, "kevin" wasn't alive anymore. But when "Ichi" was disconnected from the body in the boston battle, he was still alive. So you need to kill the middle head to kill the dragon and that's what shimo did right there. Oh and also, weird that there was a "convenient" placed power station there. Awsome animation tho👍

Okay lads let's be honest here Shimo could freeze mz completely yes and wipe him, however mz does have the advantage of flight and his regeneration to boot so it's a hard fight for the two that can go either way as one mistake is all it takes.
