Aries is the Krita yuga lorded by Narasimha Avatar. Similarily, Cancer is Treta yuga where Shri Ram is the yuga avatar. Libra is Dwapar yuga ruled by Sri Krishna and finally Capricorn is Kaliyuga where Rahu is the strongest planet hence Sri Varaha devata. For all Agni rashis, i.e. Aries, Leo and Sagittarius its always Rahu - Varaha. But there is a difference in the way Rahu or Varaha is looked at. For Aries since its the beginning rashi hence Varaha is more to do with the birth. So reciting the Varaha Gayatri Mantra (Sun is exalted in Aries hence the Gayatri) helps growth at Work being the 10th house. For Leo its the 6th hence they need to protect their health hence they should recite the Varaha Kavacham. For Dhanur he owns the family, wealth and voice hence they need to recite the Bhoo Varaha mantra as he is with his consort Bhoo devi (earth) thereby maintaining the 7th house and 2nd.
