I have been in a generation lucky to have heard this great master live at least ten times. As a friend of mine put it, listening to Ustad Amir Khansaab is about the best treatment for high blood pressure patients. I regard Khansaab as an immortal in Indian classical music.

There are other recitals of Yaman by Amir Khan, but this creates a special serene effect. The noises on the street outside the hall where he performed cannot disturb the mood of listeners.
