Love the selection. As others have said all these women are great but I do have a liking for Ladyva! I would add to the list Marie de Boysson and Jojo Carpenter. The three of them playing together is just the best! Thanks.
Fantastic to see Stephanie Trick and Ladyva in there. I rate Stephanie number 1 for her versatility. The young girl is insanely good also. Hope she stays with it.
My favorite description of "BOOGIE WOOGIE" IS THIS. .... BOOGIE IS WHAT YOU PLAY WITH YOUR LEFT HAND, AND WOOGIE IS WHAT YOU PLAY WITH THE RIGHT HAND! ....... AND BOOGIE WOOGIE IS WHAT YOU PLAY WITH ALL YOUR HANDS! ..... the more the merrier!
yep the second set with the drummer is awesome! Stephanie is also great - how i love boogie woogie! And well, my favorite, thats Ladyva, which first time btw i met on your first video here about a year ago. since then, i watch everything of her i can - and not just bec. we are from the same small country....
Nací en Enero de 42 estoy cumpliendo 80 Siempre ma ha embelesado el B W y como lo expresan es secillamente espectacular les agradezco del fondo de mi Alma DIOS LES BENDIGA
Thank you so very much... I get a personal like on a video playing guitar on facebook from ladyva and I am a nothing... She is very great and humble ! But I need to say that I agree with your list this woman you put on first is just incredible.
It would be nice if a video was made of Jo Anne Castle at work with an upright. She was on "The Lawrence Welch Show". #1 and #5. "Wild Thing" is what they are. They "move me".
I gave this video a thumbs up however I felt it necessary to let the narrator know that I was a little disappointed that some of the performances were partially blocked out by the announcer talking over the playing of the piano was just a little upsetting at this pointing that the full performance could not be heard because of that 😔
that stephanie trick video is old. she and her husband are 2 of the best piano players in the world. IMO, they should have a residence in las vegas. ladyva has improved over the past 6-8 years a ton, but stephanie trick is a smooth boogie machine. you did not do her justice. Donya is the spirit of boogie woogie and she can rock a piano.
Honey Piazza and Stephanie Trick are OK. Doña Oxford is, as always, superb. But you should have included Jan Preston of New Zealand. To me, she and Doña are the only female boogie pianists that are on the same level as the kings of boogie: Hegemann, Blohm and Zwingenberger
Wrongly pronounced Ladyva like many others. It is not La Dyva but Lady Va as her name is Vanessa and therefore short of Lady Vanessa should be pronounced like Lady VA
@@boogiewoogieboss5894 Fair enough if she is pronouncing her stage name like that then that is how it should be. I never heard her saying her stage name so it is good to have this info for the future reference. So LaDiva it is. Thank you.
@@boogiewoogieboss5894 I wouldn't want to disrespect someone's name pronunciation, but I hope she understands that many of her fans simply fell in luv with her initially as Lady Va.
Can’t understand how people can’t feel the beat to Boogie Woogie. Such great music!!!
I......can't.....pick......just......one. I want to listen to them all, all the time.
Boogie-woogie keeps me young it’s been a gift for my 84 years of life. Life is good love to boogie
People with talent bring joy and happiness to us others without. Thank you!
I TOTALITY AGREE WITH YOUR STATEMENT !
Love all the women so much passion that's what boogie woogie is all-out thank you 😊 🙏
These women bring such joy. The drummer in Honey's performance was outstanding. He also has a true gift.
Ladeva # 1 in my book
I watched every minute of this video . Thank you so much for making it . I'm in HEAVEN !
I would agree that who can say whose better, Ladyva or Donna Oxford? They're both simply amazingly gifted.
GOD has blessed these women with talent to make us happy, let's boogie woogie all night long 😅
LADYVA is definitely #1
Love the selection. As others have said all these women are great but I do have a liking for Ladyva!

All these ladies are great ! I'm a little partial to Ladyva!
Fantastic to see Stephanie Trick and Ladyva in there. I rate Stephanie number 1 for her versatility. The young girl is insanely good also. Hope she stays with it.
Agreed, Stephanie has great skills and duets with her husband are great fun. Would love to watch her live when the lockdown lifts🤠

I really loved the whole video, however the second set with the drummer was by far my fav!
Thanks for the compilation.
Thanks, this one wasn’t quite as well received as the first boogie woogie women video I did, so I appreciate the comments🤠
I saw Marcia Ball a couple times at summerfest in Milwaukee about 20 some years ago ..she was absolutely great
Boogie woogie is the BEST music ever😍😍😍🤣
Hey Ladeva.is my no.1 they all were great
Emily Joy - the future of boogie woogie piano in the hands of a 10 year old New Zealand girl. Fantastic.
Thanks Tim, I didn’t actually know she was from New Zealand. A real talent indeed.
@@boogiewoogieboss5894 Yes indeed a Kiwi. from Auckland.
Are you from NZ too then?
@@boogiewoogieboss5894 Victoria, Australia.
They tore it up. Full of life and mastery!
Just a happy genre. Thanks.

I’ve just realised that I absolutely love Boogy Woogy. 😍 I wish I had used my misspent youth learning to play the piano. ☹️
Ditto!
Awesome playing! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
So reassuring to know I share the same planet as these super talented female pianists.
Yes, I have my special favourite but, it is a close run thing.

Cili Marsall is my favorite and the best in my opinion
Great camera work on some of the hand shots, especially Stephanie and Donna.
What do you think about these boogie-woogie women? Be great to hear which is your no.1 performer!

Ladeva..sorry
Dave Kida is a top notch drummer behind Honey in Rod Piazza's band!
She knows the keys well and she sings good!
We down south , we call it roadhouse music
We’re going to the roadhouse, we’re gonna have a real good time🤠

Stephanie Trick is my #1 The others are great.
Thanks, but i remember supers pianists Jo Ann Castel and too Winifried Atwell.

Too bad the camera on the second girl is positioned that you can barely see her hands. She’s really awesome though!
