I bet that one trout that came out and looked at the worm saw the hook or the sinker had a bad memory and backed off. Going to have to try that with a tiny hook and some fluorocarbon someday. Maybe I can have a better day that way. 😄

Thinking of taking my kids there in October. Would you recommend bouncing worms on the bottom at that time of the year as well? I’d love for them to have a good experience. Great video!

Do you think it would be safe to have a jon boat below there when not generating?

I think it's safe to have a Jon Boat there even when they are generating. Following proper safety procedure and being mindful are more than adequate to keep you safe fishing below that damn. Hope that helps. Have a better day!

@@daltondriver3584 there's about a 25-pound goldfish that lives in the corner under that waterfall. I've been watching him every summer for the past 3 years. It's definitely a goldfish. It's Bright orange!

Great policy! Not practical to practice. On the Caney Fork River brown trout under 24 in must be released no matter what condition. Brook trout and rainbow trout between 14 and 20 in are protected as well and must be released no matter what condition. Like the agent from TWRA told me, "Turtles got to eat too".
