had to revisit this video because i forgot everyting i studied about trignometry, mostly relating to solving questions. feeling much more confident now
Sort of an irrelevant comment, but the german fact about the quadratic formula was fun to know because other than a-levels, German is what I'm learning as well (also for a-level)! Which is a rather uncommon crossover, so it was rather pleasant and interesting! Thank you for the informative video, haben Sie einen tollen Tag!
Thank you so much sir for being my math tutor. You have really helped me gained confidence in maths, since IGCSE, and now I'm preparing for my AS/A levels. Your simple explanations have been really helpful. Thanking you once again🙏🏻🙏🏻
Great video sir I was actually watching your 10k subscriber special earlier today it brought back some memories! You’re about to blast 30k incredible sir! I miss your videos sir! Keep it up! Sorry I’ve not posted I’ve posted more on TikTok this year
Wow, you've been doing some serious TH-cam time travel! Thanks for watching the 10k subscriber special, and don't worry, I'll try to keep up with your expectations as I blast past 30k! :-)
Hello, I appreciate all the hard work that you invest in every video!!! Just wanted to ask - how do you know when to substitute something with an identity? Ffor instance, 12:33 step 1 is tan(x) is immediately substituted with identity, whereas 16:27 step 1 sin^2(x) is not substituted immediately (hope the question makes sense lol)
Method 1) (- x= 6) equation is given Multiplying both sides by (-1) -1*-x=-1*6 Then x=-6 or Method 2) Let the equation be (- x= 6) If we multiply both sides with "MINUS" sign -(- x)= -(6) Then x= -6. Which one method is correct or both method are correct. Please help
In the question 11a rather than the part where you factorise and manually calculate the values for 4cos^2 x-3 and cos^2x +1, shall i not just use the function from the calculator to solve quadratic equations and get the values and move ahead? or is it compulsory to solve it manually?
sir lets say we have a question... 5tanx^2 = 5tanx.....why cant we just divide the whole thing by tanx. because i seem to be losing solutions when i do that. would you know the correct method?

Glad it helped Hoel! 🙂
so glad all of A level P1 is finished☺ looking forward to p5
Working on it 😊
At this moment, you are my most trustable maths tutor
i think i got this
Gone through the whole playlist? 😊 th-cam.com/play/PLYNwTLhq9xZbPekX7M6tinBY3XqDf22UB.html&si=0ivqj_scuUXxGI3z
@@GingerMathematician will surely give it a look! Thanksssss
your welcome

Gleichfalls 🙂 I will teach occassionally in German at the moment so es bleibt im Kopf sozusagen 😉
Always very interested to learn something like this ❤
Glad you enjoyed it! :-)
I needed this badly
Glad I could help out! :-)

Glad to hear that! All the best for AS/A Levels!

Thank u so much I have mocks in 3 weeks and I was struggling with it may god bless u❤
No problem Masoud 👍
THANK YOU SO MUCH SIR !! this definitely was much needed. you are the best
Great to hear 🙂👍
bro is the absolute legend i love you so much i think i'll go from U's to A's
Love the positivity! My A-Level Maths P1 videos are now complete 🙂👍
can i pleas have the presentation/document link so that i can print and practice
Could you please send link to the presentation
U don't know how much this means to I have my math end of term after tomorrow and trig will be a big part of it
Thank you so much for sharing! It means a lot to know that my video is helping you prepare for your math exam. Good luck!
YOU ARE A HERO! Thank you so much 🥰
No problem 😊
Hey ginger could you please make a detailed lesson series on the complete ibdp maths ai course. That covers the complete new syllabus
Probably won't have time soon but like to make this a long term project at some point :-)

Depends on the question, I am trying to make it look like the right hand side so I perform substitutions to get closer to the form required :-)
@@GingerMathematician Got it, thank you!
hi sir at 31:07-32:07 how did you get the negative solutions using π? Why do you + and - π/6 from π?
Because we have both Root(3) / 2 and - Root (3) / 2 to consider, so there should be 4 answers in total :-)
Keep them coming
Will do :-)
14:05 why did you mutliply it by cosθ/cosθ ??
To get a common denominator of cos theta for both fractions 😊👍
36:26 Does the M1 mark mean we can say u =cos^2 x and solve?
It does 👍
and at 39:33 why can't you use 1.5 for cos theta? why does it have to be -1>theta>1? just to brush up on concepts i'm not clear on...
The range of cosine is between -1 and 1, so 1.5 is not a valid answer :-)
hi sir i have a question, when it comes to using the calculator, how do i know when it should be in radians or degrees..
When the domain is written in terms of pi or not...
I really need explanation for p3 topics pleaseeee
Won't have time at the moment sorry 😕
pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee@@GingerMathematician
Method 1)
(- x= 6) equation is given
Multiplying both sides by (-1)
-1*-x=-1*6
Then x=-6
or
Method 2)
Let the equation be (- x= 6)
If we multiply both sides with "MINUS" sign -(- x)= -(6)
Then x= -6.
Which one method is correct or both method are correct.
Please help
Both methods are completely valid!
Bro u are helping me so much ❤
Glad the videos are helping 😊
Thank you!!!
No problem 👍 How are your AS Maths Studies going?
5:18 here could you just say let x = cos theta and then use the formula from there?
Exactly 👍
thankyou sir
sir what about the sectheta cosec theta and cot theta
Not on P1 :-)

By the way your explanations are really helpful! thank you sooo much!
sir lets say we have a question... 5tanx^2 = 5tanx.....why cant we just divide the whole thing by tanx. because i seem to be losing solutions when i do that. would you know the correct method?
You would need to factorise it like a quadratic and solve so you would not lose solutions :-)
is this for 9709 maths?
Yes!
nice
Thank you 🙂
Can you please make a video about symmetry and rotation transformation enlargement?
For igcse plz
