I bought one this summer for here in southern Ontario. Temperature wise there's no issue (USDA zone 6a and in the ground) but I've put in some good effort to winter dry protecting it!
The three together should make a very interesting specimen. I wonder if that was grown at Monrovia (as you mention in the comments)? If so, I would bet the multiple growth points are due to tissue culture production. Tissue culture produces multiple growth points in plants that are usually solitary in nature, and Monrovia is not inclined to use slower (seeds) methods if they can get it out faster with a different program. Since Y. rostrata doesn’t pup naturally, I would bet it is tissue culture. You could grow multiple trunks with multiple seeds planted together, but that would take significantly longer . My very favorite yucca - and I am a fan of all of them . The variety’Sapphire Skies ‘ has the nicest blue coloration . There are a couple of others, but they are seldom seen
i have two in ground in south seattle, installed about ten years ago. starting to trunk very nicely, but i've never removed dead leaves so the trunks are hidden by them. they have never bloomed and the tops still only have the one leader.
If I keep it in the pot during the winter at westend vancouver, should I move it indoor? Or it should be fine on the balcony..... I am thinking add a layer of ridge insulation in the planter, hope that will help lol!

Yes Monrovia :). I have another one I picked up that had three in one pot. Interesting that they were TC.

I prefer the skirt look of the spent leaflets around the trunk.

It under an overhang so it stays dry. This potted one was out all

No they were purchased. The one in the pot is roughly 5 -6 years old
How old is your yucca rostrata?
The one in the pot is only 5 or so years old, the one with the trunk I can only guess but maybe 15?

how often do you water your potted yucca rostrata?
Very little, during the hot summer season about once a week, not at all in winter. It is under cover on our deck during winter.

I don't sell them however Monrovia carries them, you can order from them.
