And most cases you buy should protect and hide the bump even more

I did indeed. It is the Chinese version. All I did was install everything in English, download the playstore APK file with play service and all works perfectly fine :) not so sure on Google pay since I don't use it but I'll have a look

Global Rom have got option to change home screen grid up to 5:7 icon ratio ;) Also there is an option to prevent unlocking phone while it's in pocket. Even battery is small, it easly compete with S10+. There is electronic sabilization, altough it's not optic, but there is any.

Overall I would have to say the mi9. The v20 has a great design and the punch hole display is awesome but the mi 9 has an AMOLED display, faster charging, better CPU, better video recording options, Ultra wide and optical zoom capabilities, and you can use a custom launcher where you can't on any Huawei or honor phone.
For pictures, and performance (newer chipset), this hands down. For software and optimisation, the 6t for sure. All comes down to what you care about in a phone.

Depends on what you want. Better battery life, bigger screen, go for the mi 9. Better looks, slightly better cameras, better quality screen, go for the s9+. Whichever you can get cheaper I would go for but keep in mind the mi 9 has a much better chipset in it. So if you are a performance monster go for the Xiaomi :)
Of course the mi 9, it's a year newer, fewer bezels, around a 40 to 50% increase in performance over the Kirin 970 the p20 pro has, they should take very similar photos and this has more options. This also has wired and wireless charging where the p20 pro is limited to wired and the charging is slower. The p20 pro also has a smaller screen and a nasty big chin for a physical fingerprint reader. It's very old school, but if that's what you like it's still a great phone and has a bigger battery but if you spend more on the p20 pro than the mi 9 then it's silly not to get the mi 9.
I buy xioami phones for two reasons : 1, 1, 1, IR blaster, 2. Second space! I will not buy any phone that doesn't have IR blaster!!! That's why I use only Xiaomi or Houweai phones .

It does though the second speaker (earpiece) isn't very loud. Just before the conclusion I did include some short audio demos.
