WHALE TRAVEL SCHEDULE, WEST COAST
October to February: Gray whales southbound from Alaska to Mexico.
February to April: Gray whales are northbound from Mexico to Alaska.
April to June: Orcas travel from Southern California to Santa Cruz.
April to November: Humpback whales (the best show-offs).
June to October: Blue whales (the largest animals on earth!).
July to October: Minke whales, mostly in southern California.
