You truly capture the magic of Japan. No overdone narrations, genuine reactions and letting the visuals speak for themselves really do add to the atmosphere of your videos.
All Japan area never fail to reveal everything to foreigner. The hospitality, scenery, technology, meals, etc..For HALAL ramen recommendation is Ayam-Ya
0,42 minutes in I began to cry happy tears. I was first time traveling to JP this match 8-28. And this made me so happy. Because yesterday I booked a new trip for 29 October to 29 November this year. I just had to get to see the fall. And when I did see the first 0,42 minutes of this vlog. I know I can’t wait to get to Japan again. It’s just so beautiful ❤ - Thank you so much for the beautiful moving pictures 🙏🏻
I haven't had any fun lately, 😭 so it was fun. You bring me joy!❤🙂I love the kind and generous heartwarming atmosphere that you create, your kind, easygoing, warm vibe. ❤I like the essence how you live on. I need to be true to myself and find a job I am passionate about. I want to find a way to live as who I really am.
Dear Allan, Coincidentally, we are currently editing and putting out our Japan Travel Series as well. And our videos wouldn’t have been half as good if not for your travel guides. We said the exact same thing for your Iceland videos just last year and now we are saying it again for your Japan Guides 😂😂😂 As travel filmmakers, your videos have been a goldmine for us. They are a very essential part of our research in many of our travel series and have helped us in ways you cannot imagine. We would love to meet you if at all you decide to come to India. Allan Su’s Guide to India is long pending 😄😄😄 Love and Hugs from Bangalore, India ❤❤❤
I'm 17 and am planning my first trip outside of my country (New Zealand) since 2018. Not only that, but it's my first ever overseas trip without parents, as I'm only going with 2 friends to Japan in January next year. Needless to say, since booking the tickets, I've been doing hours of research about Japan and the places we could go on our two-week trip. Out of all of the many videos I've been watching, yours have been not only the most helpful (especially your 14-day itinerary video, it saved my life!), but the most interesting and beautiful to watch. Your cinematography and eye for a good shot are on another level, and it makes me enjoy planning this trip all the more when I get to watch a beautifully made video as well as further plan my itinerary. Going to another country at 17 for the first time without parents is definitely nerve-wracking, but moreso insanely exciting, and your videos on Japan have me all the more excited for my visit to this incredible and gorgeous country. I can tell you love what you do; keep it up! Thank you so much for your hard work on every video :)
Allan, you are making the best quality videos so far I've seen out of many TH-camrs. The choice of scenery, music, camera shots, edits, useful tips... Just a pleasure of watching your Travel- Storytelling😊
You’re an amazing artist Allan! I love the chemistry between the beautiful music and the images. You’ve been my favorite vlogger for years. Thank you for sharing!
Woww...I've probably binged watched all Japan and Korea vlogs and I can say yours is the most beautiful well-made video I've ever watched. I felt like I was back in Kyoto again. So enchanting and alluring, great job
Thanks for the great video. I, like most people love to photograph things but watching all these great videos inspired me to take some video on my last vacation. Let me tell you folks- IT IS SO HARD. Not just capturing the footage but editing it and putting it together and if you want music how and what fits...it's all just too much and it took me DAYS to make like a 5 minute montage for me and my friends lol. That's not including all the extra time to set things up so you or your subject is in the shot and the different angles and...it's just too much. But I am glad I did it as I get to appreciate even more these videos knowing just how difficult they are to create...especially if you're the one who has to capture all the footage.
Allan, i'm thankful for your Japan videos. I always enjoyed watching them. I, myself, am going to Japan this Nov. Late november to early december and i'm going to visit Hiroshima as well. But instead of Kyoto, I'll be staying in Osaka and will do the commute everyday. I'm a fan, and i will continue to watch your videos. Thank you.
Your videos truly are SO SPECIAL. Makes me miss Japan so much I could cry. Thank you for sharing these videos with us!! You're the ONLY TH-cam channel that I've turned my notifications on for. :)
Great work! That's an amazing video that truly captures the beauty of Japan. You guys blend in perfectly with Japan by behaving calmly and composedly, without shouting or making a lot of noise. You almost look like a Japanese couple! This country, known for being the cleanest and safest in the world, is built on the high moral values of its people and their constant consideration for others, always avoiding causing any inconvenience. With the recent opening of Japan's gates, an influx of tourists from various countries has arrived in a flash. Please also convey the importance of foreign visitors familiarizing themselves with Japan's unique rules and manners before their visit.
I organised my First Trip to Japan with your videos. I watched this Video and loved it so much that we are currently booking to visit Kyoto again 😂 love your videos! Thank you for sharing your experience
I just had to like this video even before watching it because I know that this is going to be amazing. During the peak of Covid, I was so down because of the pandemic and anxiously waiting on Japan to open (my original plan was to visit the country in 2020). Then, I stumbled upon your 14 days in Japan video which greatly inspired me that one day I will get to visit the country. Finally, I am here in Japan for the first time. I have been here for almost a month and this place is truly special. Thank you for showing how beautiful this country is. (plus points for the Final Fantasy XIII theme ♡)
Love all of your travel content, especially in Japan. The music in this video was just perfect. Keep it coming please Derudover har jeg lagt mærke til de få gange i har snakket dansk i jeres videoer, og det er mega fedt at se!
This video was beautifully edit and captured! Really enjoyed the footages you took and music choice! It was very much appreciated :) also! Wajoryomen was bomb!! i was too shy to film myself in there hahaha.
First time going to Japan this year. I'm planning on staying in Tokyo, then Kyoto and making a day trip to Osaka. My dad really wanted to go to Hiroshima, but I told him it probably wasn't possible since it seemed so far. Come to find out in this video it is! Absolutely amazing thank you! My dad will be so excited he hears this news.
So beautiful documented with the perfect tempo. I especially love the “spirited away” inspired music and your close up cinematic. I was just in Kyoto last week and watching this takes me right back, trekking back some of the same foot steps as you. Makes me miss this ethereal place so much more, Arigato
That was wonderful. Loved the atmospheric soundtrack too - especially around the 5 minute mark. I am in Kyoto for the first time in November and can’t wait especially after your video.
Maybe this is offensive, I really hope not, but this gives the lovely energy of a Ghibli film, particularly with the music. So so so calming and beautiful.
Allan you are him I love your Japan videos I’m ecstatic every time. Can’t wait to go to Japan your videos always make me feel like I’m there without being there. Keep going.
When you showed the kodai-ji...it reminded me of what my mom was telling about an area in my hometown of the Philippines. She said that area used to have so many fireflies at night and algae in the water that made it flow with light in the dark. But as it got popular it became less and less prominent and eventually it went away. I feel like most areas that was well lit like that used to have such an experience.
Thanks for making the video. Your video with your brother from 2018 was one of the videos that convinced me to do something different and take a solo vacation to Japan in 2019 and this one is timely as I will be taking a trip again this year, also to Kyoto/Hiroshima area in the late fall(late Nov). Was wondering about what your timing was. Video looks great, love a lot of the composition you picked. Also agree with Ichiran, it was my first ramen in Japan as well(in Fukuoka), it was also way more convenient since it opens late.
Loving the video Allen as well as your other videos, I will be going to Japan in November with your itinerary as a general guide and the days cannot get here sooner. Also, shoutout to the Kingdom Hearts music you used, calming nostalgia at its finest!
Your usage of Final Fantasy 13's The Promise really caught me off guard. What's the Legend of Zelda song used in the Arashiyama part? Great video once again!

You truly capture the magic of Japan. No overdone narrations, genuine reactions and letting the visuals speak for themselves really do add to the atmosphere of your videos.
You’re amazing!!! You did not only document Kyoto’s beauty, but you also captured its soul. Thank you for sharing this with us ✨

Nice. Your vidoes are simply so much more cinematic than pretty much anyone elses on TH-cam

Hello. I recommend chono in and eikando for autumn night illuminations. They do have some of the longer queues though.
Your videos truly are SO SPECIAL. Makes me miss Japan so much I could cry. Thank you for sharing these videos with us!! You're the ONLY TH-cam channel that I've turned my notifications on for. :)
