"Most people, they only want to be seen" has been the most recurring observation of human activity I've encounter since hearing this song back in 2017. People do stuff, whether it be seeming intelligent, seeming deep, without logic, insignificant, petty, dumb, or morally corrupt, to be seen (accepted, wanted, praised, identified, elevated) because they feel invisible for some reason.
