This is a song of a Cossack who has a dream of impending doom he can't figure out till interpreted. Cossacks were elite horsemen, so yeah his horse was frolicking and playing at that moment. Diana's official site translations are good. I love this song. I love this song sung by Diana.

Beautiful song - wonderful delivery. I agree, in terms of talent, that she doesn't need to compete anymore - but there may be other motivations. And yes, some of the judges 'advice' was less than insightful. I guess they feel they've got to come up with something!
In terms of 'exploring/ revealing all aspects of her talent' - she's already doing so many diverse things - across genres and across different cultures and languages. She has plenty of time to explore in lots of directions as she develops her own 'Brand, and I doubt that her Brand is going to be locked in to any specific genre'. She's far more flexible than that. Some months ago I heard that finances were a challenge in terms of paying for studio time etc. Maybe that's still a challenge - especially as I believe she's still studying music / composition etc. pretty much full time. Maybe this is about maintaining wide exposure - until she completes her studies and can launch full time into her career. Dimash did both - but he is nearly 10 years older.
I really wish there was some way that every hit on her channel - & every Like on a reactors channel would send her $1 !
She could retire tomorrow! Not that anyone would want her to!!! What she COULD then do is gather an experienced team of musicians around her - & perhaps with Igors guidance??? - set up her own Production Co. / Studio - much like Dimash. ie: not sign to any particular production co. - so that she can be free to creatively explore & expand her talents at her own pace & in whatever direction she chooses. This is what I hope & wish for her.

On Diana's face you see sadness, anxiety and pain of the soul of the Cossack warrior. One would swear she borrowed that soul to perform the song. I agree about the "tenderness" line being wrong. No one shows anywhere near the amount of emotion as Diana does. As a matter of fact, rather than purchasing records and CDs of her music, I'd much rather buy DVDs so I can witness again and again her stage presence. The absolutely overpowering visual performance!!!

The translation of the song is correct. “Frolicked under me” refers to a horse that person is riding.

What Karina Koks said was also weird IMO, there is nothing tender about a warrior dreaming about his own death before a battle. I think she hit the emotions here right on.
