    Great to see Field Athletes highlighted! Was so disappointed for Mr Jumps when he didn't medal in either event @Eugene WC, 🤞he's able to get at least one medal in Budapest!

    This guy is incredible talented, He's bless, hopefully he carry ,is form straight through season.

      @andreashammar3548 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      He is talented but the last years the theme is that He is top 10 in both events but not top 3 in either. That makes him getting No world medals so far but it sure can change if He trains and focused more.

    • @andreashammar3548
      @andreashammar3548 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I think He should focus more in the high jump this year since the Long jump is way more full of world class athletes. The high jump only have a few guys who Will jump 2.30 in champs.

    So happy to see a high jump video! It's been a while since we've had an American at the top of the high jumping scene. Very excited about him, and I hope you do more videos on the high jump in particular, also the womens!

    Is that thumbnail a mistake? Vball seems unrelated to Juvaughn’s HJ/LJ achievements.

      Triple jump easy way to get hurt. Would he be great, yes. Is it worth it? Probably not

    • @trogpo
      @trogpo ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@stevenmiller6725 Great point. And even if he doesn't get hurt, he will have to rest a lot more, and that will hinder his trainings for the long and high jump.

    My favorite things to do in the world when I was young were the HJ and LJ. I never got to world class level, so I can only imaging how much fun JuVaughn is having with his abilites...which still look a bit raw to me. As he fine tunes his technique (think Carl Lewis), he could be really special.

    As another has already noted James Ballard did 2.30 and 8.02. Carl Lewis did a 8.67 with a -0.7w and a 8.52 with a -2.0w. Pedrosa and Myricks did some great jumps with headwinds as well. I'm sure there are others!

    Harrison is Defo one to watch! But special shout out to Will Claye, has a 8.29m LJ and a 18.14m TJ. Also Got a Olympic Silver and Bronze in both events in London 2012.

    1:39 doing my man James Ballard dirty. He did this over 2 decades ago. I think you meant to say 8.4 then it’s correct though that just feels comical haha like ya of course he’s the only one. Harrison is a 6’4 freak of nature with jumping abilities like we’ve never seen. Can’t wait to watch this unfold

    To succeed at the international elite level in the high jump, you must also be very tall and thin, i.e., lithe. There are no short, stocky Olympic high-jumpers.

    Think you are making a mistake. Jesse Owens did it and also 100 and 200m.There was one day that he broke multiple records in the same day.He set three world records and tied another, all in less than an hour, at the 1935 Big Ten track meet in Ann Arbor, Michigan-a feat that has never been equaled and has been called "the greatest 45 minutes ever in sport".[5]

    Meh, it is not that rare of a combo. I was a 1.95m HJer and I also was solid at the LJ. I had the same HJ form as he has. We just bring more speed in the approach and use it to our advantage converting it into vertical.

    he needs to lose 10lbs of puppy fat to get the best out of his high jump.
