If you want to take your mind off of everything and watch something heart warming and heart wrenching, watch A Walk To Remember. Years and years ago, I was an avid Nicholas Sparks reader. I never got around to reading A Walk To Remember. I'm so glad I chose to watch the movie tonight.

On top of it, subsequently the popularity snowball to the soundtracks - propelling carreer of the artists in which songs being featured throughout the movie too! Rarely a preteen movie were given such accolades. I think Nicholas Sparks' novel and the brilliant direction were also giving such a lovely tone and 'feel'. It was magic! I am lucky to see it in theater and love the storyline so much.

I've watched this movie, just recently, it came out in 2002, and just watched it in 2024, no idea such a movie existed before. I read a lot of commentaries and reviews about the movie, some liked it, while some didn't for different reasons, but, for me, I liked it, the two main characters have a lot of chemistry together which makes this movie special.

This isn’t the actual music video, Mandy shot one with Shane west, and it’s more of a view of Landon’s life after her death and how he often reminisces of her and sees her in the sky. It’s such a cute but sad video.
Tragic love story but beautiful song. Sad Landon lost her after just getting to really know her. He must've had thought how much time had wasted in growing up and going to the same school without any interaction except making fun of Jamie and her pastor Dad with his friends, when he could've been trying to really get to know her. He states this somewhat in the book which is totally different than the movie itself. I wish they could make a movie going directly by the book itself.
