So the “Tres Leches” cake when translated to English means “Three milk” obviously referring to the 3 kinds of milk used: Cream, Evaporated Milk and Condensed milk. Its not Filipino but more Mexican as Mexico was used as stop over from the Spanish traders coming from Spain going to the Philippines during the 1500s when Philippines was a colony of Spain. Nevertheless, its a cake worthy to be made by all regardless of its origin. Congratulations! It seems you did an excellent job! LOOKS VERY MASARAP’

I never heard of tres-leches cake. I left the Phil in 1993. But your cake looks yummy and the texture looks very smooth. They call it different then maybe. My grandmother makes Leche Flan (custard) that has cake texture. I don't know her recipe. I am a musician (guitarist) and one of my favorite rock bands is Gorky Park (they are Russians)

In the philippines we teach our children how to cook and clean, because if they grow old and stay alone they can cook food for their own no need to hire nanny or maid
Olya we also grow strawberries in the Philippines but mostly on the mountains where climate is cooler. The mountain province of Bangued and other surrounding provinces in the north and in the southern part of Luzon which is Tagaytay City famous for its view and a touristy area and also in Bukidnon in Mindanao where your cousin Andrei spent much of his time. If you visit these places you can buy very cheap prices and you can even pick for yourself fresh strawberries. Andrei has never been to these places that is why he doesn’t know because I followed his blog here in the Philippines.❤❤❤❤Regards to Mama Olga and Andrei and of course to your family too. Hope someday you could come also and visit our humble country.

I never heard of tres-leches cake. I left the Phil in 1993. But your cake looks yummy and the texture looks very smooth. They call it different then maybe. My grandmother makes Leche Flan (custard) that has cake texture. I don't know her recipe. I am a musician (guitarist) and one of my favorite rock bands is Gorky Park (they are Russians)

Strawberries grow in Baguio Province in the Philippines. But only on cold months like December to February

Olya we also grow strawberries in the Philippines but mostly on the mountains where climate is cooler. The mountain province of Bangued and other surrounding provinces in the north and in the southern part of Luzon which is Tagaytay City famous for its view and a touristy area and also in Bukidnon in Mindanao where your cousin Andrei spent much of his time. If you visit these places you can buy very cheap prices and you can even pick for yourself fresh strawberries. Andrei has never been to these places that is why he doesn’t know because I followed his blog here in the Philippines.❤❤❤❤Regards to Mama Olga and Andrei and of course to your family too. Hope someday you could come also and visit our humble country.
