People don’t get sick from magical flying Boogey germs. They DEVELOP the “illness” following the resolution of the upsetting event that caused it. Just like they DEVELOP cancer. If you can’t “catch” cancer, you can’t “catch” anything else. The Germ Theory has been fraud for 110 years. Repeating it over and over does not make it true.
This made me feel a lot of different types of ways in quick succession.

I lost a good friend to suicide a few months ago and I needed this SO BAD. Ik there’s a massive chance that you’re not going to see this comment, but Joe, THANK YOU. Your comedy (along with comedy as a whole) has gotten me through some insanely shitty experiences, and I’m so happy and honored to be able to experience it. ❤️
EDIT: I had lunch with my deceased friend’s mother recently and this short hits SO much harder now. The feeling of relief and closure that you get from talking to their family and receiving their affirmation is truly something else, and the short does an amazing job portraying that.

Well acted, and we'll written! When, as an adult, I moved back to where I lived in the early grades, I called an old friend's house to reconnect, only to learn he had died of AIDS a few years earlier. His mother had answered the phone and volunteered the information.
Joe List is one of the best comedian around so it's wonderful, yet not surprising, to see him being a great thespian as well 🙏...and thank you Raanan Hershberg, for your talents behind the camera, and for being a fellow great comedian as well 🙏

Wonderful film. The transition from comedy to drama was beautifully handled, the performances all round were pitch perfect, and Raanan's writing and directing were a revelation.
This was very good - excellent. I love that we can now capture this creativity and release it into the world independently

Wow. I put this on, and started mainly listening, because I was clipping my toenails. Then I looked up and saw tears streaming down your face. Totally caught me off guard. Very powerful.

Wow this got real heavy and good in the turn of like 15 seconds. Went from a decent sorta student film to something that actually moved me. 5 stars. Outta how many? That I'll never tell.
That was great. Hilarious first half then a curveball twist. Please make more of these. Your lines and comedy were on point. I was seriously dying laughing when it cuts to you on the phone tracking down any possible clue as to what happened. Then the initial thats crazy reaction to calling his Mom quickly changing into it being something that must be done! I rarely comment on videos but I just had to on this one because I see huge potential here and everyone seems agree.

Well, if you ask me, Joe List is great at standup. He really is great at making jokes on stage and say the funniest shit when talking to the audience.
