Launched in October 1975, our station in Cebu knows all about changes of plan. In 2018, the station rebranded, launching as UP987 DYFR-FM “Life-Changing” ( / up987dyfrfm ) with a new sound and program strategy. The change drew in new listeners and spiked social media engagement, particularly among millennials and Gen Z-pointing them to the life-changer, Jesus Christ. Gayle Tallo-Lagadia, though newly installed as station manager, has been with the station for more than a decade. She has her own change story to tell.
