A bit late but for me the biggest difference, which made the MM712 feel much more intuitive, was the sensor positioning. On the X2H it felt placed a bit too close to my palm rather than my fingers. Great review 😁
Hey, I'm also someone that is trying to transition from an MM712 as well. Are you still happy with your X2H, and did you get the mini or regular? I'm also a big fan of the higher sensor position as well. I have never had a mouse where my lift offs and swipes are so linear and predictable before. It almost feels like the mouse is more "flat" than others with how predictable it is. I think a lot of that has to do with the sensor positioning. Thanks if you respond
Hey there, I did purchase the X2H Mini and felt it being a tad too small - for my hand at least (18.5cmx11cm I think it was). I have not tried the normal X2H yet since overall, the shape is there but the hump or "butt" of the mouse rather is too round for my liking. You don't feel as locked in as with the MM712 or rather something like the Ninjutso Sora (which might feel too big and not as nimble in comparision). I had to use grip tape for the X2H Mini (also by Pulsar) to make it work. Keep in mind though, it's me being very nitpicky and the mouse was good and I performed well with it, just not something I feel perfectly settled in with. Aside from the talk about shape - the only other mouse that I have tried, that had a similiar sensor positioning, was the G-Wolves HTX, which is completely different though. Another huge contender for narrow middle but generous butt might be the OP1we, which is still on my list to try. If you yourself finde another mouse that might fit the criteria, let me know. I like the Stormbreaker. I'm in limbo about returning it, so I did order the lamzu thorn with the 4k dongle, and it's cheaper than the storm breaker. No hole as well; I know soon you will do a review of thorn.

As usual, I strongly advise regular customers from buying early Pulsar batches. They send vetted copies to reviewers, just like how the original X2 and X2 mini were universally praised but had a ton of issues for regular customers. It's good to hear the shape and sensor implementation are great, but I think I'll personally wait for half a year or so.
how's their RMA policy? if they actually go through with them then I don't really mind something being sub par and then replaced, I've owned 3 Deathadder Elites & 3 MZ1s
It's always sensible to hold off from buying for a month at least to get a feel how the build is. This is basically the reason I've stopped talking about build quality with certain brands, units can be handpicked or reviewers can just get lucky. The reason for the rework has to have been quality though, so in that sense one can be hopeful about the X2s.
@@z3ke002 Pulsar customer service is notoriously terrible. Your best bet is buying from third party retailers like Amazon. There's constant threads on mousereview talking about pulsar customer service, top post right now is literally from someone saying pulsar haven't refunded his money for a returned mouse after 3 weeks.

Holding out to maybe look at the Xlite V3 for my "endgame" ergo mouse. The EGG xm2we is for sure my favorite ambi mouse. I used the pulsar x2 for maybe 6 months before that and it just felt a little small. While the X2H might be a little closer to what feels "right" in my hand, the xm2we already checks off everything for me as a claw player
The Xlite V3 is out now, and I'm hoping it will replace the ancient wired Deathadders I've been using all these years. The sharp corners at the front are what I hate primarily, which they didn't change with the Deathadder V3 Pro, so I'm hoping I'll like the Xlite V3.

Well, changing the internals definitely makes sense, so their whole new lineup is 4K compatible. Also the internal structure changes hopefully help with QC!

I've only ever owned a GPX superlight, but I have smaller hands and so it feels a little bit like a potato for me. Definitely going to be picking up the x2v2 mini or x2h mini, but stuck between the two. Which do you prefer between the two? I have a relaxed claw grip but I was planning on learning a new mouse shape anyways.

How is the H compared to the zowie za mice? I have a za13 now and have gotten my hopes up for the mini. But is it similar?
ZA13 is higher profile overall, and the hump is a bit more towards the middle. Hand feel is entirely different on these, wouldn't call them similar!

Nope. Very different feel to the XM2we, X2's have fairly flat sides, and the X2 medium feels larger overall to me than the XM2!
