Even after all these years this movie holds up. The fact that they pared down the CGI to a bare minimum and put in the hard work to make the live action look legit paid off in spades. There are a lot of movies you might have thought cool at the time where come 20 years later they look like dogshit. Still seamless, likely always will be. This is the cinematic masterpiece. The story, the action, the choreography, hell the soundtrack…everything is perfect. I will never not love this movie.

They don't make movies like this anymore, The Matrix had so many layers to it that keeps you thinking about it because the movie doesn't tell you everything.
