Thank you, I just talk along with the video no script. I am learning all the time and that is the fun part. I could have covered wing with plastic but I want to learn how to use silk.
And that is why you don’t crimp the leadouts. Crimping is inconsistent, and even when it’s solid, the tube creates a hard stress point for the wire where fatigue can set in.
Be careful of that stooge line. I flew my Twister one day when I felt something on my ankle. I was winding the line on my ankles as I flew. Kept getting tighter. Barely remained on my feet when it finally quit running.
@@billkuhl442 yes I'm sure you are right but I was hoping you would demonstrate pressurised bladder fuel supply, it's probably illegal on you free flight duration models under AMA rules?
Had one of those back in the day. Great little plane.
Thanks for posting your adventures! I appreciate your commentary

That does sound like fun.

Wow. I built a Li'l Jumpin' Bean 60 years ago. I was just a clueless kid and never got mor than one half circle before it crashed.
It is the first plane I remember flying as a kid. I have broke this one a couple of times.
It was going so well 😮👍
I had to throw a crash in for the video.
@@billkuhl442 that always helps the viewing figures 😆

I did that once on another stooge. Really careful with the line now.
Bill have you ever tried bladder fuel supply, lots of power lots of hassle, go on I know you like gadgets
Only for free flight.
What length lines?
37 feet
Such a shame as I was really enjoying that flight, it was an outside loop that killed Waldo Peppers friend if you remember.
I need to watch that movie again. Hope the pickup line is placed properly inside the tank.
@@billkuhl442 I'm not a control line flier but I do know that aerobatic engines should switch between two and four stroking but not all do
@@stevenhugh1785 i think with 1/2 A it has to run pretty fast all the time.

@@stevenhugh1785 it is fine to use pressure in free flight
I used monokote on most stuff back in the 70s
I did too, now I try about everything.
