Hello, for a long time I looked for how to manufacture my own clone army, but I never found anyone doing what you do for a long time, so I made sculptures of the characters but it was not what I wanted, I wanted them to be articulated but I wanted them myself do. here in my country, the Hasbro toy line went out of line very quickly because it didn't have that much public and I live in a small town and I couldn't find these action figures, at the time I was a child, I only managed to buy them when I was older and here These action figures are almost non-existent for sale. After a long time without thinking about it I looked up how to make my own clone trooper and found your channel on you tub Clone Craft thank you, from the bottom of my heart thank you ❤
Thanks for the compliment about the video quality.I just try to constantly get better. From the first video to now, I have just been trying to get rid of things that annoy me when I watch them. The first video was like doing 5 videos because after every section was shot, I would go and edit the clips. This help to make the framing better over time. This video, I tried to improve items I wasn't able to do from both the other two videos. An example is the voice over work in the color video sounded weird, hopefully you didn't notice it here. Let me know if you have any suggestions on what to change as well, I would love to hear them.
Love seeing the whole process. I have a clone kit that I've been sitting on, and your videos make me think I can actually do a good job on them. Your step by steps make the process look easy.
Amazing video!!! I'm new to 1/6 clone customization and your videos have been super helpful!! Please keep making them and if posible do one of a clone commando!!!
I appreciate your videos! You have an additional subscriber now. Seeing someone's weathering process gives me confidence to try it out myself. I plan on repainting a 501st clone into a 181. Thanks for uploading! A question: when applying the vinyl tape, do you have any tips on how to measure up so both left and right are symmetrical, or is it just eye measurements all the way?
If you watch the kix video I did, you will see I actually mark the area with a caliper. In this video I eye balled the back, it’s not perfect. I would recommend using a pencil to mark the spots and tape accordingly. Like make just a few dots so you know where to place the vinyl dots. Good luck man, and thank you for the kind words!
hey! i just printed my first set of clone armor with PLA. I’m not too familiar with sanding and i was wondering if one round of sanding with 400 grit sand paper would be enough?
Pla is going to be hard to work with, try using filler and then sanding that smooth. I tried that once and it was a lot of work. SLA or resin printers are the way to go with this
I’m flattered by your request, but I am sorry, I do not sell printed kits. You can check my other video out on how to 3d print for beginners if you are interested in that. A 3d printer costs under 200 for the ones that printed the armor in this video. Hope that helps and thank you for your support!
New subscriber here, incredible custom process. Quick question, do the files for the armor come pre supported? I'm getting my first resin printer tomorrow and I'm really considering this process. Thank you, and I'm looking forward to more of your videos.
excellent work, the truth is that I have several clones of sideshow and hot toys, every time the prices are sky high, but with this video I feel motivated to make my own Clones, a question and my intention is not to bother you, you created the file for 3D printing or can it be purchased on a website? Greetings.
You asked for feedback on your voice work, here: I can understand everything you say, and can follow your prodedures. Well done!
Thanks man!

Thanks for the positive feedback man. It’s rough just starting out. I can add a commando to a future build
Wow! Awesome video 🔥🔥🔥 now I want my own printer... lol
Thanks for the kind words, check out the video I just released on how to start 3d printing if you are interested.
@@CloneCraft I did lol! And that one brought me here 🙌 I found you on Facebook and I was very curious about your work. Very nice sir 👌
Awesome man, let me know if there is anything I can help with.

@@CloneCraft thank you! yeah, im definitely getting a resin printer in the future when space allows it!
Would you consider selling unpainted kits for this? These look great

Where you get a weapons, 3D-printed too?
You can print those as well, I just took them off some clones I had for the photo shoot.
hi great video! is that the same red used for the right bicep armor for shoretrooper?
Thanks for the kind words. The red paint is not the same color as the shore trooper, it was a random mix.
@@CloneCraft do you know where I can find said red paint? Thank you
Maybe try posting in the Facebook group: facebook.com/groups/803736790555314/?ref=share_group_link
Will you make Phase 1 rex in the future?
I could, next week is Alpha-17, which was going to be Rex, does that count?
do you sell the files.
Check out the links in the description for all the files that were used to make the build. Thanks for watching!

What printer did you get? If you join the fb group, we can do a hangouts if you want to get started
Hey man, great video, very informative! I was wondering how much in materials it costs, roughly, per clone? Aswell as how long it takes to make one?
The total cost not including sunk costs (price for printer) is about 50ish dollars per figure. 3d printers cost around 190 for an ok one
One of the guys in the fb group says he can pump them out 1 per day…I’d say depending on the complexity prob 2-4 days
Cool trooper! What 3d printer do you use?
For those I actually am using one of the cheapest printers out there. Anycubic mono 4k.
Do you commission work?
unfortunately i do not, but if you join the facebook group, you will find a bunch of people there that do. facebook.com/groups/803736790555314/

He has a link to his files in his description
I think i saw a link to that in the description of the video?
There are links in the description to everything I used for the build
@@CloneCraft Gracias, saludos.
thanks!
