I love that you said you felt stupid. I've grown to appreciate that feeling and kind of seek it out, because it's the first step to learning.

Loved how open and transparent you were... it's good to know that "it's hard" strangely that takes some of the pressure off! 😅

Hello to everyone in the community. I'd like to know, if I am posting in the correct subreddit. How can I advertise to gather potential clients and user base without providing the whole idea to protect it from being "stolen"? Or shouldn't I care about advertising it since the code and how it works wouldn't be at all provided just a few features? Because I see some contradictory thinking of what I share can be done by the competitors which don't have these services yet? Thanks for any feedback

Its something that cant be avoided. I understand the concern though but I think you have to get past that. You want to share your idea with as many people as possible - worrying about a competitor taking the idea will hold you back from spreading the word far and wide. If a competitor takes the idea it means there is *likely* a market which means you are doing the right thing and can capture some of that market. Something I have started to believe recently is your ideas are not you, it is your responsibility to validate the idea and pursue the execution of the idea if its the right thing to do - if not, move to the next idea without becoming emotionally attached.
