I've always wanted to read Chad Lutzke but I'm not into the cosmic horror / coming of age thing. Hmmm...what to do... I still loved this video, though! It's always great hearing you tell us about the new books! And thanks to you, my book club is already reading two of your recommendations this year!😃🤘👻
Same! I have tried cosmic horror but it never quite works so this one perhaps it is ok since it sounds like it could be my taste...we shall see Ah so cool you guys are reagind some books I enjoyed! Hope you enjoy them as well.
@@horror-sickness Yes, I might give it a try, too. I've always heard that he's an excellent writer. I'm super excited for our 2024 reads! The two from your recommendations are Home Before Dark and Candy Cain Kills.😊👻🔪💀
@@holbrookjr OOhhhh Candy Cane Kills is just slasher fun so I am sure you will enjoy it. All the good classic slasher vibes. Home Before Dark might divide more readers LOL
@@horror-sickness Oh wow! I'm glad to hear that Home Before Dark will be divisive! That always makes for such fun discussions! I thought I remembered you giving it a positive review, though. And I always enjoy a good slasher!😃🔪👻
I very much enjoy your videos and am happy to find a release video with new title, not found on every other list. Thank you. As an aside, I love the art of the little monster which is over your left shoulder on the shelves. Do you remember the artist, or where you got it from?
Thank you so much!! I do try to find as many titles as I can so that you have options to choose from. Oh I love that little portrait. I got it actually in a fleamarket when I was living in Germany. I think it was by a local artist there.Sorry I can not be of more help 😅
It's ALWAYS guaranteed that after watching one of your videos, I'm either adding to my FOREVER growing TBR. OR .... heading over to Waterstones to order. (Because they're not either available here in the states or won't be released for quite a while!!) Either way, PLEASE keep recommending these great sounding books!! Take care!!
😅👀 whooooops- hahaha I feel you. I also end up adding so many books to my endless wishlists every time I check new releases or videos by other creators. It is a weakness 😂
I'm a middle school teacher and it's probably terrible to say but I'm really interested in reading One Must Go. I wish it was out now so I could enjoy it during our holiday break.
I always look forward to these videos. Eye of a Little God, Rabbit Hole, and Womb City are must-reads for me, but honestly many of these books sound interesting. Thank you for this video, Kasha! Happy New Year!
21:30 love the cover
Rabbit hole and the first book sound good
This is an awesome list! I'm excited for Midnight on Beacon Street!
Thank you!!! 2024 is already starting with a bang
8:06 really interested in this one too

Thank you so much!!! January is definitely a month packed with interesting titles so we are starting 2024 with some good books
Krystal Sutherland has a new book? Yeeees 😌
yes! We have been blessed
One of the books was selected for the Evernight / Illumicrate subscription.
Nice! I love book boxes but most of them are more fantasy and other types of genres I do not read much.
32 books!? Woah 😍
A lot to be excited about
Great video
Thank you so much!
