Add a gin pole under the deck. pull from the top of that when the boat is capsized. Pole is pivoted under the deck from the main beam and secured fore and aft. port and starboard with pre attached lines that are tied off so that the pole is vertical when the boat is pitch poled like this one. Then the gin pole is vertical and you can get leverage off of the line attached to the top of it. See the rig from Murray's and you can make your own.

Eleven Wharram cats at one time together - I love it. And guess what my special moment in the video is? 10.4 knots on the Mana in modest winds - YES!
We have actually done over 11 knots on another occasion.
I am looking forward to seeing what it will do in strong winds. :)
