watched him in the spring game, he’s got the right mindset, i just hope he gets his shot to start before getting buried on the depth chart, he’s a great QB with a bright future
@amaritaylor6387 100% agree.. I only worry that there's no spot for him to shine with everone we have in waiting.. hope dan finds a way to get him out there.. wildcat style plays or something similar
Saw him in a few plays in the spring game. This dude is fast. Fastest qb ive seen in college in awhile. He is an elite athlete. I never thought about what steins offense could look like with a qb with that kind of speed.
Possibly the most impressive play I saw in the spring game was Moga chasing down his own player who was scoring a touchdown like he was fucking Tyreek!!! I think Moga has a chance to beat out Novosad, Akili Smith, the new 2026 commit Williams, or whoever it is, when the job is likely available in 2027 after Moore goes to the league. At that point Moga will be a redshirt junior and will have the opportunity to maybe start for 2 seasons if he can develop with his athleticism! He hasn’t played football for very long and I think he has a lot of potential!
I wouldn’t be surprised if Oregon uses Moga in wildcat and goal line packages this year. In the future, he might get moved to WR if he doesn’t transfer.
Novosad has a very real chance to be the starter in 2025. Will be interesting to see if Moore or Novosad run the show in 2025 tbh. It is far from a given that Moore will beat him out. Both are really talented. Sco 🦆🦆🦆
He'll have a hard time beating out Novosad, who has progressed very well and grew into his frame. Novosad will give Moore a run for his money next year.
Sorry but did you see Novosad in the spring game? He was looking even better than Gabriel at times! Moga has absolutely phenomenal speed but Novosad's arm is stronger and more accurate which is much more useful in Will Stein's quick release offense hence part of the reason I think he chose to join him in Oregon after Moore flipped last year. Moga has a lot of talent and I expect him to only improve but I don't think he'll beat out Novosad for 2026 and, in fact, I'm not even sure that Moore will secure the starting position next year to be frank. Sure, he was a 5 star coming out of high school and has starting experience but don't forget that Mariota was only a 2 star guy himself so you never know. Regardless, the 3 way QB battle next year is definitely gonna be something to watch and with Akili Smith Jr. coming in on their heels somebody is hopping into the portal the is who.
@@amaritaylor6387 That I will agree with. That is actually a concern of mine as I'm sure he's being eyed by a number of schools for a head coaching spot and rightly so.
Considering OSU lost to Michigan the last 3 years straight, and Michigan has the the most wins in college football, you might want to reconsider your statement.
I think this guy's as good as gone after spring ball. The Ducks have too many QBs who want to play. And it's going to be the Dante Moore show for the next two or even three years. But maybe Moga could beat him out! And then Dante Moore could skip town. I don't think there's enough NIL money to be willing to sit for three years.
I don't have much respect for Moore, and so hoping he isn't around long. The impression Moore left me with is 'selfish' and not truly committed to Oregon. He once did (originally committed to OR)....but left for UCLA when Nix announced he was staying at Oregon another year. And then Moore came back from UCLA to Oregon. I was surprised he (Moore) didn't leave again when Gabriel transferred in from OK. Anyway, with the whole transfer portal thing...Moga can only hope no one transfers in and sets him back in the lineup. But honestly, Moga could possibly beat out both Moore and Novasad for the starting job at QB.
Who is another underrated/under the radar player I should do a quick feature on?
Next one should be about ty Thompson remember he was the future of oregon at one point
Jay Harris the JC running back. Whittington is back but Harris looks like a dude on what little tape you can find.
Trey Lowe
Akili Smith jr.
watched him in the spring game, he’s got the right mindset, i just hope he gets his shot to start before getting buried on the depth chart, he’s a great QB with a bright future
Huge Luke Moga fan!
He stood out in the spring game
Luke moga is a baller.. period.. where he ends up playing hes gonna show the world .. watch and see..
I just hope it’s with us because Ik he can be special with us

I was there and I was shocked that he caught up and was going to block, he is going to be great
Wasn't Moga class of 2024? Wouldn't that make him a redshirt sophomore having only used one year of edibility?
@@mrwonderfulone in 2027? No. 2024 redshirt year, 2025 rs freshmen, 2026 rs sophomore, 2027 rs junior.
This dude is ridiculously quick.
he's my favorite out of all the qb's sshhhhh
And with Akili Smith Jr. coming the Duck QB room looks pretty good for the future.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Oregon uses Moga in wildcat and goal line packages this year. In the future, he might get moved to WR if he doesn’t transfer.
I feel good about our depth in most positions. 😊
Moga got burners 💚💛🦆

Good piece on Moga remind me of Mariota

Do a video on matayo uigalelei
His talent is definitely exciting although I think Novosad is going to be really good too. It's a good problem to have.
Next year QB battle is gonna be insane
I thought He and Novosad perform the best during the spring break.

Novosad gonna hit the portal if stein leaves but moga will start one day
Mariota was 3 star

I thought Novosad looked good but Moga looked special… it factor
Some thought Novasad was the best passer in the 2024 spring game.
Intangibles. Reminds me of jonny manzeil
Well it’s not a bad problem to have potentially so much depth I suppose.
Quick decision maker also like mariota.
Wish the kid well, just makes me laugh with all the qbs coming and Moore transferring in, he won't see the field other than garbage time. 😂😂😂😂
It’s because Novasad is also a sleeper, like big time. Guys crazy accurate. Too much depth on Oregon.
Love the Ducks, but they're moving into the big time this year, so they're going to need all the help they can get.
No they dont theyre more talented than every team besides osu

Oregon shouldn’t have gotten Gabriel because novosad is nice

Dan Fouts
Novosad do novosad
He’s fast. That’s it.
He turned himself into a d1 quarterback in a year lmao imagine him with college coaching let’s wait and see before we say what’s it
@@jebjebster I’m hopeful
Hate to say it, but he won't be on the depth chart after 2025...
