Their Swiss-made "Les Originales" line from a few years ago are better watches -- you can still get chronograph models for 2-300 quid new from Rotary (quartz only) and there are some good examples on the used market with Swiss automatic movements from 5-10 years ago and they all have sapphire glass I think.
Most les originales Rotary have mineral glass coated with sapphire actually (they were calling it Sapphrite glass). Also , their movement is of chinese origin (it is based on a Seagull movement; Seagull is one of the more reputable chinese movements, though), and it was only put together and quality controlled in Switzerland. They stopped making them after the Swiss Made law changed from 50% to 60% manufacturing costs occured in Switzerland. I also wouldn't trust their waterproofing. However, they are still of better quality than China made Bullovas, Rotaries , Ingesrolls etc , the various FB/TH-cam brands (Vincero, etc), and on par with mid range watches from Seiko and Orient and entry level Tissot/Hamilton. Owning one for a couple of years (which was several years old) and still works like a charm even when I use it as a beater watch.
a good looker but vk movement doesn't need to be 13mm.
Don't seem to be getting all your posts on this channel man, I'm subscribed 🥺
Actually pretty good looking imo. Little steep price but ah well

No running seconds and 24 hour thing is annoying
That’s a bulky watch, any medium or small sized wrists cant wear it ! And you would expect the lume to be brighter for a field watch 🤨
