Great resort stayed there in january 2023 food was brilliant and there are plenty of restaurants 5mins walk what a great stay 😊

Great videos - very insightful. Would you recomend something closer to Patong like the Grand Mercure or do you feel this is accessible enough?

Hi!
Personally, I would prefer Grand Mercure for if you have a longer duration of stay (5-7 days) as there are more options for food, massage areas and day trips.
But for short duration (2-3 nights), this resort is better especially with family or kids. No need to travel to get to the beach or spa.

I took a quick visit to the hotel in february. The beach is BAD. It has a small walkway of beach, then coral rocks, then the ocean. I felt sorry for the guests staying there.
