Just finished watching DS9 for the first time, I always skipped it when it was on air because I didn't think it would appeal to me. I couldn't fathom a show taking place on a space station instead of on "the final frontier". I was damn wrong. 20 years later Netflix fixed that. It's probably the best ST show out there, while it doesn't even follow the "formula". That tribute is awesome and just what I was looking for after finishing my binge.

I periodically wander back to this clip just to remind myself how much I loved DS9 and really wished television shows like this could have had the longevity of the Dr. Who series (of which I still don't get after years of trying to figure out what the hell is going on). Great tribute. Thanks.

'Oh wow!' 'This is the cardassian disruptor rifle. It has three settings - make you wish you were dead, dead, and kill you really dead. We will be using this.'
