Kenyan women understands that apart from good food, the best thing Igbo men loves so much is respect and obedience. Any woman that respects and obeys an Igbo husband, has stolen the heart of that Igbo man. My sister, if you said that you don't know why Kenyan women marriage with Igbo men do lasts, my dear, I will begin to doubt your origin. Igbo men hates women challenging or disrespecting them. Respect and obedience is the first qualification every Igbo man looks for before food and nyash as you may call it. Igbo men cherished respect, obedience and praises from their wives and they despise nagging so much. Any woman that nags can never last long with an Igbo man as wife.
I feel the spirtual connection with Kenyans as an Igbo man.

As a Nigerian woman, i agree with everything you said except when you said Kenyan women are able to keep the igbo men because of their curves/ big booty. We all know that there are no curvier African women than the south African women but most of their women are still not able to keep our men. So if Kenyan women are succeeding then it has more to do with the ancestral connections and hard work you mentioned.
Ancestral connections with Nigeria??
Trust me,a Kenyan would rather marry a SouthAfrican woman than Naija..coz most of them are Bantus.

Kikuyus and Igbos are similar in the sense that both tribes are very enterprising. They build themselves from the scratch and are not afraid of humble beginnings.
kikuyu dont dance in funerals with names starting with O. its actually frowned on because someone is assumed as luo
. Doesn't mean anything. Igbos dont dance at funerals of the young but the old. Old people's funerals are celebrated in Igboland as celebration of life. Igbos are mostly light skinned people, luos are mostly dark. So Igbos share similarity with Kikuyus.
igbos are not even bantu and their cultures not same as kikuyu. this is a stretch..@@martinantonio7032

Princess! You speak like Igbo woman and I know that we are anciently connected. We love you.
I think the Igbo men do not make any mistake marrying Kenyan women. It is said that the Kenyan women are number 1 in making good housewives in Africa, followed by Cameroon, Uganda and South Africa in that order. It seems as if the igbos have a very strong hand in importation in Kenya, especially in building materials. You would notice that most of the modern trends in building construction and the building materials are simultaneously showcased in Nigeria and Kenya
Kenyan women should not be in that list ,first position goes to Ugandan .

I'm glad you clearly defined the group.(Igbo Men). That's what we need to claim our various. agencies. While at it, let's also forget there's no "homogeneous group" called Igbo. Rather different clans and certainly not unified in anyway. Regardless, great attempt at giving each group the agency they deserve.
As Igbo man we find nigerian women masculine
@@JoStylin
I am married to one and I agree with that brother. Igbo women are unromantic, aggressive, money conscious and masculine. These Kenyan women are soft ,sweet and respectful. These Kenyan women quickly realized Igbo men are gold and will do anything to keep their husbands. You and I know Igbo men are great providers and protectors but they are often neglected by their Igbo women who see only money in a man.
so this marriage will be only for igbo benefit if not two way.. i find most nigerian women in general crude, unrefined and very masculine..@izuora5013
as an igbo man, no we do not. you’d do well to speak for yourself when deriding your own ppl, that is if you’re even igbo in the first place
Lol funny take. Kenyans are lovely people.
The reason for the bond with the Luo and kikuyu of Kenya is the 'bantu' ethnocentricism.
They migrated from the middle and eastern parts of Nigeria and the Cameroons to the eastern flanks of Africa and another group headed to the southern parts of Africa.
That's why southern African women have thesame fair complexion and female features with the Igbo women.
You believe this non sense..I want to know where...how about we say people used to move allover.
Unless they migrating running away from being captured during slavery..

I'm Igbo. I love Kenyans. They seem like a really sweet people. But your video is very strange. You say Igbo marriages fail? Hmm. First time I'm hearing this. In Nigeria divorce is not as common as you think. We Igbo have family that will mediate with our marriage before divorce ever becomes an option. I don't think you can prove anything youre saying. Furthermore, we have over 3 million weddings in Nigeria every year. 30% of Nigerian women are married by aged 18. Our culture is unbreakable. It seems you're trying bring discord between Igbo men and women. 😂😂 it won't happen.
Don't mind them answering Igbo princess without actually being Igbo is so weird to me, like aren't you proud of where you come from 😅. In the whole of Nigeria the South East has the lowest divorce rates. And I'm so sure there are more marriages happening in Nigeria than in Kenya. Because I hardly see Kenyan marriages like I often see Nigerian or Ghanaian ones.
The delusion with most of these our sisters dikwa egwu 😅
@@alveem7295 Lol. For me I don't mind if Igbo men are marrying Kenyan women. It's a privilege that they are being admired and recognised for their hard work and husband qualities. I also think it's lovely that Africans are marrying each other. The only thing I don't like is the discord she is trying to brew between Igbo men and women. Igbo people have suffered enough in Nigeria. The last thing we need is disunity between the men and women. We must stand united to ride the storm, especially considering the direction things are taking in Nigeria now. Igbo are resilient and we must stay that way.
@JoStylin Exactly, given the shege we receive in Nigeria, I'm glad Igbo men are admired all around. Nobody really cares where they get wives from because it is love that matters at the end. But trying to paint a narrative that is not there is highly evil. It's the same as those Igbos refusing relations with Kenyans because Nnamdi Kanu was arrested by the Kenyan government and sent to Nigeria.
The Igbos can't afford the kind of gender wars we see among African Americans, because trust me it won't end well.

My advice is, make sure you are welcome by the Igbo man’s people. marriage is more than the lovey dovey things you are talking about.
Just like Luos, Igbos tend to not consider their son married until he marries an Igbo woman. My Igbo man was so loving and caring….until we travelled to Nigeria then things changed. In short, we are now divorced and he is married to an Igbo woman at the insistence of his mother. So please, before you are blinded by love, insist on meeting his family and see how they treat you.

The Igbos and the Kenyans, or the Kikuyu and Luo seem to have a lot in common. That was why during the Kenyan fight for Independence from the British, Jomo Kenyatta of the "Mau Mau" movement escaped and came to Nigeria. He chose to stay in Enugu, which the then Premier, Michael Okpara accommodated him.

Thank you for your video. You are right. Professor Ali Hassan Mazrui in a lecture in 1986 said that Igbos and Kikuyu are similar. Later Chancellor Williams in his books said that various ethnic groups in Africa were so advanced that they most likely came from Ancient Kemet. You can count the Igbo, Kikuyu and Luo in that group. The Luo have an advanced mastery of math and science which definitely points to pyramid builders in Kemet , whereas the Igbo and Kikuyu have a mastery of commerce and finance which shows a certain genius when it comes to making money. I think when you decide to marry outside of your ethnic group you are attracted by certain biological or cultural traits that may not be common in your culture and this possession of a rare element is what makes these relationships last longer.
The Igbos have advanced so much both in technology, the Igbos are the tech of Nigeria.
@@africanbeauty4736 I agree and my reply will surprise you. I stumbled upon some information recently that really shocked me. The whole of Africa with the exception of Nigeria has adopted mass consumption of corn 🌽 which has led to lower birth rates, lower life expectancy and a huge rise is hypertension. I beg Nigeria to save Africa from this addiction to corn 🌽. How did you manage to overcome the WHO, the Bill Gates Foundation and all the other Western Funded NGO's that have been fooling the rest of Africa to eat this harmful crop? We have traditional foods like yams, cassava, millet and sorghum, which are much healthier and can solve the food security needs of Africa, yet the rest of us in Africa opt for corn 🌽. Encourage every African you meet not to eat this dangerous crop as it was designed to destroy us. This is why 1/5 of all Africans is a Nigerian. Your refusal to consume corn has greatly changed your outcome both in prosperity and in numbers. ASE!!
I will research about that part of Kenya. I am interested.
