These vlogs are a perfect storm of chill - chill music, chill scenery, all shot, hosted, and edited by one of the most chill human beings in North America.
The cinematography is so simple, and yet so effective. I am quite jealous of how easy you make it look, when it probably takes a lot of setup and experience.
A car free day with a no car zone? I though that only happened in Nsburg. I guess QWERPLINE was based on real life after all. But Graham, have you ever considered wearing a hat outdoors? Maybe it's my Autralian bias but to me walking around hatless in the sun is unthinkable.
Then you would call me quite mad. I've walked around out in the middle of summer in a crocheted beanie before, just because I had relatively long hair to keep out of my face. XD Plus the gaps in the beanie's yarn gave me great airflow with the breeze.
My city does a similar thing. It's called The Arts for All and International Festival. It's a fun thing to do, but ours doesn't seem to be as interesting as of recent years.

Also, did you notice that in normal days roughly 80% of public space in the streets are exclusive car territory? Father's Day is one of those dates that differs by country and is essentially scattered all over the year. Canada, for example, puts it on the 3rd Sunday of June, while e.g. in Germany it is "celebrated" on Ascension Day (the thursday 39 days after Easter Sunday, that's about 5.5 weeks).

I admit the thing I am most confused about is that someone took the time, effort and money to pay for a tent with a big hand painted sign *demanding* the city of Victoria to finish the bus lanes. Is this THAT much of a problem???
On average, how far do you walk a day? I know we only see you walking for like at most 40 seconds at a time whilst you blog, but home-downtown-home-moonbase-home sounds like a really long day without any idea of how far any of those things is from the other.
When you're used to getting around by walking it doesn't really feel all that long, and when you're not having a rushed day full of errands it's generally relaxing

Well without getting into thoughts and feelings regarding logistics, Douglas is THE main thoroughfare (along with Blanshard) in and out of downtown.

Wait, you can keep butter *unrefrigerated*?
if it's real butter and unpasteurized, YES you can!
It also depends on the room temperature. Butter doesn't go bad if you use it up reasonably fast, i.e. it doesn't typically take you several weeks.
