In This Episode Nikhil talks about The story of Devil of Champawat, a fearsome and infamous maneater tigress and how she was brought down by Jim Corbett an Indian-born British hunter. One of Corbett's most famous encounters was with the "Devil of Champawat," a notorious man-eating tigress that roamed the hills of Kumaon in the early 20th century. This Bengal tigress was responsible for the deaths of over 400 people, making her one of the deadliest man-eaters in recorded history. Corbett took up the challenge of tracking and eliminating this menace to protect the local villagers.
Corbett's pursuit of the Devil of Champawat was not just a display of exceptional hunting skills but also a testament to his understanding of the intricate balance between humans and wildlife. He advocated for the conservation of these majestic creatures and the preservation of their habitats. Corbett's expeditions were not solely focused on eliminating threats but also on raising awareness about the importance of coexisting with the wildlife that surrounded these rural communities.
In 1907, after a series of strategically planned encounters, Jim Corbett successfully brought down the Devil of Champawat. This accomplishment solidified his reputation as a fearless hunter and a guardian of the people living in the fringes of the wilderness. Corbett later transitioned from hunting to conservation, working towards the establishment of the first national park in India, the Hailey National Park (now Jim Corbett National Park), in 1936.

You Should do some Episodes on Kumaon Region. Uttrakhand which is also known as Dev Bhumi has deeper connections with Stories of Mahabharata. Western World May Not Acknowledge but Kumao Region Should have some Kumar ( कुमार - Prince) connection. We already know the locals still worship names mentioned in Holi Epic Book. It's time to bring about some research work. I can suggest a place to start with "Berinag".

but he was dumb enough to not recognize the real issue of animal becoming man eater, he never raised voice against humans trafficking animal's habitat. he never said that it was all human's fault to invading natural resources of poor animals, he was just quiet and killing innocent animals. when the real problem was humans.

मैने यह किताब men eater of kumau पढ़ी हुई है, आपने बहुत अच्छी पेशकश की है।
लेकिन मैं आपको बताना चाहूंगा की devil of champavat की बाघिन का शिकार कर के जिम कॉर्बेट ने शिकार करना नही छोड़ा था, दर असल वो बाघ का उनका सबसे पहेला शिकार था, इस किताब में कुल मिलाकर 10 बाघों के शिकार की कथा है, जिसमे bechalar of pavalgarh की कहानी भी बहुत दिलचस्प है, वो बाघ 12 फिट और 7 इंच लम्बा था, शिकारकथा के इतिहास में इतना लंबा बाघ आजतक किसी शिकारी ने नही मारा है।

हमारे बड़े बुजुर्ग लोग भी इस तरह की बाते बताया करते थे बहुत लोगो ने ये चीज खुद अनुभव भी किया है खुद मैने भी अनुभव की है आप लोग नही मानोगे लेकिन यह बात सच है
इसका कारण यह भी हो सकता है की उत्तराखंड को देवभूमि बोला जाता है जिस वजह से यह आध्यात्मिक ऊर्जा ( spritual energy) अधिक मात्रा में है यह भी हो सकता है
