    This tutorial will show you how images can be put into any shape. I will teach you how to properly prepare, crop and manage images to be able to create any slide you want. Sometimes we have unconventional ideas for our slide layout and powerpoint may seem as it has limitations in that regard. Some limitations can be however overcome and we can design a good powerpoint slide template for our presentations with master slides and adding placeholders.

    Thank you so much for the wonderful video. Just one question, I am using Powerpoint version 15.31 and when I go to format the picture, it only lets me adjust the shape but not the picture itself. There is no bounding box around the picture. Can you please kindly tell me how to fix this? Thanks a lot!

    • @andrewpach

    How did you insert the picure in the triangle mine came in side ways

    • @andrewpach
      @andrewpach  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It most likely came in sideways because you turned the triangle 90 degrees. Look at 0:28 in the video, I am selecting down facing triangles so don't have to rotate them :) test it out

    I'm using PowerPoint 2007 and it seems to have no features to adjust the image inside the shapes :/

    • @andrewpach
      @andrewpach  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It might be true, PPT 2007 is really old and currently a couple (not much) of features are not present. Sadly Microsoft doesn't update the older versions since they want you to purchase newer ones.

    • @eviananda225

      i mean rotate it without the shape

    • @MyNigellus
      @MyNigellus 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have to say powerpoint is a little bit retarded in that matter because it's so difficult. You have to rotate the shape, then change the shape itself...I konw it's stupid. In my opinion there should be a rotation option in the CROP window where we edit the photo itself, I will write a message to the powerpoint staff perhaps to look into it!

    • @andrewpach
      @andrewpach  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      What version of PPT do you use? It should work just like in the tutorial in any version above 2013 (maybe it was also possible 2010 I can't verify that anymore). I click on the picture > I then have Picture Tools active and clicking on them brings me to cropping.

Everything is in your hand - If you click on my PowerPoint tutorials there are several tutorials only about slide design which can get you going - I also don't know what DCG I have never enountered it, but no matter the slide if you have an idea you can make an entire slideshow consistent and well prepared

    These aren't "any shape you want", but are just the few shapes already available on PowerPoint.

    • @andrewpach
      @andrewpach  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ye it's bad that we have such a limitation. But, you can install inkscape, design shapes there and just ctrl+c and ctrl+v them into powerpoint

      Well Andressa it's nearly 2017 so the software is good 10 years old so of course some features will not be available :/ I am recording tutorials with 2016 currently and this is not likely to change :/ I would sugest an update for you or just skip those things which can't be made!
