Persian night pair is one of my favorite pairs in my collection. I find myself wearing them more than any other pair that I have. Just such a clean pair, and the dark navy just looks amazing when the right light hits it.
Hey man, love your videos. Honestly some of my favorite review videos on TH-cam these days. Curious what made you so high on the 990v4? Your original review video made it seem you were very lukewarm on the shoe. Top 3 is pretty surprising, especially over the 992s.
Hey David! Thanks for stopping on by and for the kind words. I think the lukewarm feeling kinda manifested into a love for the deep blue. I still stand by the point that the 990v4's are essentially a black or navy 990v4, which there are many GR replacements. I honestly feel like the 992's arent as nice of a model when compared to the 990 series in terms of shape and comfort. The 990v4's also felt like they tried a bit more with the metal lace toggle and the elastic laces. I may consider doing a re-review with my thoughts on it after months of wear.
Yeah I’d swap both pairs out for 992 in either color. I love the Parisian night pair because of the unique color. This looks like an outlet pick from Joes New Balance.
I 10000% feel the same sentiment. Parisian night is so so good and I think I realized how awesome the color is after wearing it out a lot. Joe's New Balance LMAOOO
Wow this was such an amazing review though I personally like this brown 990v3 over the green pair. I have both and I feel like around fall time this brown color way will really grow on people. Also you really made me want to look into a pair of teddy 990v3 the quality looks insane for the price point. Keep up the great work im definitely a fan now!!
i love the brown black pair as well and I have both. in terms of what people look for in a collab design, i can definitely see how it can be underwhelming for people
To be fully honest, it isnt a bad colorway to say, but the QC on my pair was definitely not what I was expecting. I also do think it shows how much of a difference there is between some 990v3’s in terms of quality.
something Ive noticed is the best qc is on the 990v3 with one stitch rather than two on the back panel. Many times its on low stock pairs and samples. Shape and weight is just so much better on those pairs.
I've had a lot of 990v3's , but never had as many issues as these. The Water&Wifi's, the Aritzia, the aries, they all were much better QC than the recent few releases.
If New Balance creates a Vegetable Tan V3, V4 or V5 its game over if executed correctly. I hope you get royalties for that brilliant idea 💡. Better yet they should just contract with you as a designer 😅
New balances before all the hype were primarily a form and function type shoe that prioritized the use of said shoes. All the hype doesn’t change what new balances are still originally for. There’s a reason podiatrists recommend new balances for people. So no you’re definitely wrong it is a 250$ shoe. You’re just thinking about it in a dumb way
@@yohannjardiniano6726 If $185 or retail i don't mind. I have 990v5 too and i love it for its features. But If $250 with same features like you type above + major flaw like Kevin told us above so not for me. This is my opinion.

These young street reviews are so tired. They all cop and review the NB Jjjound. They all shit in the color ways because they are not poppin or colorful. Haha. These sneakers were not meant for skateboarders. They are not meant to be worn with G star or Bape tshirts.

Nice video. I actually like this colorway better than the green. But the suede on the green is better.
to be fully honest, I do like the brown , but the color distribution is a bit odd with the black laces.

How do they fit?
They fit like other 990v3's. I would recommend size down 0.5 for narrow or normal feet. If wide foot then same as your normal size elsewhere.

I dont mind it all that much , but the QC is a bit of a bummer.
The black sole and paneling looks terrible imo.
The color paneling is just so ehhhhhh to be fully honest.
imo sell this 990v3 jjjjound if the price is correct for you. looks like construction worker on duty, not 250 shoe imo.
