This was fantastic to watch to see the logistic choices how the banana was planted. I’ve been working on my little piece of land in Victoria using chop and drop and amazed how much it helps the plants and pushes out weeds. Kayleen

    Great video!
Can back up Rob's words that when a system becomes more established the nut grass will move out. Typically it requires more sun like he said, but also it doesn't do great in a more fungal dominant system.
Thought I will say in all my years, I've never heard anyone classify Banana as emergent. I've always seen them as high strata, curious to hear his experience on that.
Awesome looking system, can't wait to see more progress on this.

Thank you. The grass is already moving out. I want to get Rob back for another walk through so if I remember I’ll ask him to clarify that statement.

They are not witcherty grubs. they live inside trees wood not under the ground
Those things were lawn grubs which will eat the roots of your trees.
    Or Xmas beetle larvae.

I though Euc's had bad oils in the leaves so why use as cut and drop?

I haven’t heard of any bad oils as such. Both the course we attended and our consultant (Rob) encouraged us to plant Eucs as they are native and grow fast.
