I have the same exact machine. I just purchased it at the end of December. First mod for me was new wheels. I ended up purchasing system 3 sb-7, 15 inch wheels, with 4+3 and 6+1 offsets, so I don't have to run spacers. Next came a honda glass windshield, followed by a super atv rear glass windshield. Next came a bosman front bumper on order, with the possibility of getting the brush guard made by Ryan. Next came the horizon-offroad swing out tire carrier. I'm going to be carrying the same wheel with a 6+1 offset for the tire carrier. I will machine a 1.5 inch wheel spacer to proper tolerance to run the wheel on the back if needed. All five wheels are matched with 31 inch carnivore tires. I'm highly interested in seeing what you do for a pre-filter. I think the particle seperators are overpriced. I'm also interested in the fender flares you have on this machine but I think they are overpriced to (the honda ones). I will probably go mudbusters unless somebody tells me RokBlox are better. To be honest I don't think your exhaust was worth it (to quiet don't sound cool). Please put more mods on this thing so I can get some more ideas. I will read your full review in March.
Since you guys review these machines, will you try out a 808-offroad air filter intake tube with a donaldson turbo pre-filter? Maybe change the seating so 1 seat in the rear is in the middle. Possibly stick a tune on it. Run a trinity full exhaust. Possible turbo. Anything cool put on it. Make it awesome.
@@slimtnymy family has the 2nd generation of the Honda talon 4 seater we just went to glamis with no paddles and it did just fine, didn’t get stuck or had any issues getting up a dune In my opinion these machines are better than can am and Polaris just because the Honda talon doesn’t have a belt, I always see on Facebook people breaking belts and having to replace them ($100-$150) each time, we just wanted something that we can buy it and ride it stress free from a belt

I'm so torn between this exact Honda 1000R4 and the polaris Pro XP or Turbo R premium. Love that Honda DCT.
Kind of in the same boat. I like the power with the turbos, it would be nice to know how the R4 actually rides and how the power is.
