~ No take Aquatic Reserve ~
This creature and 160 more species are living in Cabbage Tree Reserve.
This is a 'no take' Aquatic Reserve, which means you are not permitted to fish by any method, harm marine animals or plants, or collect marine organisms whether dead or alive (including empty shells as they provide homes for living organisms). Please remember, you must not harm any organisms, including sea urchins, to feed the fish.
Please report illegal or suspect fishing activities to your nearest Fisheries Office or use the Fishers Watch Phoneline on 1800 043 536.
Shelly Beach is a part of the Cabbage Tree Reserve. The beautiful underwater world that's there can be enjoyed only because it is a protected area. Please help keeping it this way as there aren't many places like that.

WOW I went there today and it was amazing. what's the best season to go !!

The best season is actually all year long. During different months you will see different animals. Generally I do prefer winter season because the water is more transparent.
