Both Billy Chong and Hwang Jang Lee make the Eagle Claw 🦅 style look powerful on film.I’m still amazed that Billy Chong never went on to be a bigger name in Hong Kong Kung Fu movies.I know he later went back to his country, Indonesia, and became a big name there, reverting back to his original name of Willy Dozan, but with his all round ability, I’d have thought SHAW BROTHERS or GOLDEN HARVEST would have tried to snap him up.Especially when you look at later stars like Donnie Yen and Jet Li, who became big names, Billy Chong could and should have been up there with them.
Lol. I was gonna say the name Willy Dozan in the video but I kept laughing everytime it came out so I scrapped it!!! Lol😂😂😂

Before I watched this I knew Snake in the Eagle’s Shadow would be number 1. Billy Chong’s Super Power was a much better performance and story line.
Two more movies to consider for this list. 1) 36 Crazy Fist (1977). Cast: Ku Feng, Lau Kar-Yung and Michelle Yim. 2) Passage of the Dragon aka Twins of Kung Fu (1981). Cast: Jason Pai Piao and Michelle Yim.
This October you've got to consider reviewing one or both of Billy Chong's kung-fu horror films -- Kung Fu Zombie (1981) or Kung Fu from Beyond the Grave (1982).

Angela Mao in The Tournament (1974) also used Eagle Claw in the beginning of the movie beating up the Japanese guy and 4 other kung fu guys before she proceeds to Thailand!
And its really funny that she always beats up Sammo Hung in all her movies involving him!
Perhaps that's how Sammo came to beating up his wife in Encounters of the Spooky Kind (1980) in your top 5 craziest things in kung fu movies because he is so fed up with getting beat up by women that he takes it on a defenseless one haha!

Hwang Jang Lee also used Eagle Claw in Ninja Strike Back when he fought Bruce Le aka Huang Kin Lung in Coliseum finale, Invincible Armor with John Liu & Tino Wong, and Hell Wind's Staff with Meng Yuen Man & Meng Hoi. There is also Shaolin Iron Claw starring Wang Tao, Li I Min, Chang Yi, & Chen Sing.

I think you're right, I don't remember any specific mention of "Eagle Claw"; I just assumed it was Eagle Claw based on the way the villain pulled his opponents apart like they were crabs at a crab feast LOL!!@@LWAC71 That movie, literally, gave me nightmares!
Avenging Eagles was a great movie however I wouldn't call it a movie based on eagle claw kung fu. Ku Feng just happened to have metal made claws.
