His theories have alot of logic behind them and its only an interesting possibility if it is far out there. There is nothing stopping this arc from eclipsing other arcs for the simple reason that Wano has been built up all the way from Thriller Bark. Marineford is the only other arc to have nearly as much build up. The difference this time is that there are more characters and the goal is going to be more difficult to accomplish. Even Oda himself has been excited to get to Wano faster, and he knows the fans have high expectations. Right now is the "calm before the storm" stage. Reminds me of the Chimera Ant arc. No matter how long the build up, the payoff will be well worth it.
I think it would be better if the 9 samurai were: - KInemon - Kanjuro - Raizou - Okiku -Nekomamushi - Inuarashi -Kowamatsu - Denjiro -Ashura A samurai is a member of the Warrior class under the rule of the Shogun or The Daimyo. Zoro, Luffy and Law are not under the Kozuki clan but in an alliance with it so if we consider them samurai, they would be more like ronin (but to be fair, so are the "7 samurai" in the movie) Moreover, we can assume that, if not for the backing of the ''babyshaker beast" KAIDOU, Orochi would not have been able beat the kozuki clan so it would be nice to have the "pirate part" of the "pirate-ninja-samurai-ninja" take care of the pirate ennemy while the others that are all part of the Kozuki clan take care of Orochi and his men.
True but zoro needs to go against orochi. So for that to work out maybe zoro's back story revealing he's somehow related to wano/kozuki should first be revealed. Or maybe zoro himself is ashuradoji xd

don't forget about Inuarashi, who also carries a sword. If we follow the Momotaro reference, thinking back to the Ninja-Pirate-Samurai-Mink alliance, Momotaro's 3 friends who helped him were 1. The Monkey 2. The Dog 3. The pheasant. In the alliance, Luffy would be the monkey, representing the pirates. Inuarashi would be the dog, representing the minks. And The supporters of the Kozuki clan, such as Kinemon, maybe Ashura Douji, represent the pheasant - an allusion to the bird-like sign of the Kozuki clan.
If I remember correctly, Oda was actually a really big fan of the 7 samurai since he started one piece. I remember reading, that he took the inspiration for the 7 Samurai in one piece from this movie. Can't give you any sources, but I belive it was in one of the Books (blue, red, yellow, green). So it's pretty likely, that he also took inspirations from it for the wano arc
The prophecy was about the 9 red scabbards, the carriers of those scabbards according to Kinemon are himself, Raizhou, Kanjirou, Okiku, and the guy in the hat (probably Hitetsu). So since it has to be RED SCABBARDS that means Zoro (because sandai kitetsu is red scabbards) Shuttenmaru, Kawamatsu, and Denjuro (sp). Luffy’s sword has a blue hilt, and the hilts in the series usually match the scabbard, but if Oda makes a exception then yeah Luffy might be number 10 aka a honorary member of the group.
Law's probably gonna die by the end here. But it'll be due to exhaustion at having to deal with Luffy. On another note, I'm expecting the guy in the cell to be one of the 3 samurai mentioned by Kinemon.
Let’s not forget that we really don’t know much of Zoro’s backstory before him meeting kuina, for all we know he could have a background with samurai parents or something.
Luffy, Zoro, Law, Kin'emon, Kiku, Hitetsu, Ashura Doji, Kawamatsu , and Denjiro. If one of the two unknown end up not being a "samurai" I could see Hitetsu be included in this list. I could see that Kiku could be a spy for Kaido, as someone knew that Raizo, Momonosuke, and Kin'emon were the ones who left the island, which Kiku probably did. I could also see Law using the operation on Momonosuke or Luffy if he did so.
Actually, Seven Samurai is one of Oda’s favorite films. Personally I hope Admiral Ryokugyu or a Wano Samurai will look similar to the actorToshiro Mifune who plays the Farmer/samurai Kikuchiyo in Seven Samurai . Good video sawyer 👍🏽
I always include Kinemon in the list so I feel there's really only two spots left if we are going off your list. There's Inurashi and Nekomamushi who could be considered candidates.
For some reason I believe that Tashigi from the Marines will be a part of the 9 Samurai. It's been a while since we've last seen her and she and Zoro still need to settle things with why she looks like Zoro's childhood friend, Kuina. If Wano is supposed to focus more on Zoro then I think having Tashigi come back would make sense. Even if she isn't of the 9 Samurai, I still think she will at least make an appearence and run into Zoro regardless.
LazyCurly I doubt Tashigi would be in Wano because she has no reason to be in Wano. Also she doesn’t look like Kuina that much anymore so that gag is out the window. Also don’t forget that Oda never said that this is Zoro arc. It makes sense, but that was our claim, so don’t expect or get upset when Zoro isn’t shining as much as you and many others want.
Zoro might be playing a role similar to Toshiro Mifune here. His vagabond/ronin nature, name Zorojuro and his character while saving people was quite similar to Sanjuro from the movies Yojimbo and Sanjuro. He is also not a samurai (they are born into the class) but he is a swordsman (Kikuchiyo from Shichinin no Samurai).
I feel like Luffy and Kidd are going to find one, Zoro will find one, and Kinemon will get Shutenmaru, while Sanji and co. reunite with the other Strawhats and fill them in on what's going on.
I feel like this arc will be a big one for Brook. I feel like Brook will probably start being able to use/control haki. Also I feel like Sanji might be one and as something foreshadowed by when his Father threw him the sword combined with his skills with knives.
I can easily see Kid being a part of the group of samurai. Sure the reason he joins would be entirely different than every other samurai, since he would be fighting for the sake of revenge, but he would still be very willing to fight Kaido again. Plus I kinda want to see him make a giant katana out of like 20000 normal katanas using his magnet powers.
I was thinking briefly about it would be funny if Ussop is included in the list...when you mentioned the katana... I realised he just held it in the last chapter
What if Brook can channel Ryuma's soul into him from the underworld with his fruit since it was his shadow that reanimated him? Picture all Brooks sword techniques powered up like how they were when Zoro fought him. Brook and Ryuma seem connected and would be cool to see Brook's devil fruit be able to channel his power to help fight a dragon in Wano.
i think the person in prison who is in jail who spit bones was jimbei and is one of the 9 samurai since his behaviour has always been following the bushido, the person who will die is kinemon definetely, since he raised quite a few death flags recently specially when he said he will not meet his wife till all is over, and we all know he will never get to meet her properly.
Wano has been pretty interesting so far but honestly I'm worried by all these new characters. I want to see the strawhats, heart pirates, and minks get moments to shine Most of the strawhats haven't had a good fight since the timeskip. Most of kaidos crew besides the supernovas and calamities seem kinda weak. When will franky, sanji robin, and nami get one on one fights

i appreciate your videos and just like you, I don't find many things worth catching my interest. But i strongly suggest you give a shot to One punch man, Mob Psycho 100, Seven deadly sins and hunter x hunter.
I think, what people that are not reding One Piece in japanese, is the importance of Oda's choose of words and the meaning of words like samurai or what the straw hats mean.
Although I am a strong believer in the list that you talked being the most likely outcome I do think there could be a few other possibilities. One possibility would be 8 of Oden original 9 with Zoro replacing one of them. I have a whole theory around this I'll hopefully post at another time.
Another possibility I thought of includes Momo in some way. Something will happen that will make him a capable fighter. Maybe he is aged by someone power or something happens with his fake devil fruit or the reaveal of an hidden power that he always possessed.
In these scenarios I see the Shogun and his forces being brought down by the nine while Kaido and the Animal Kingdom pirates are handled by Luffy and others seperately
And it's perfect. Ace gave Luffy his vivre card and Luffy saw it while Ace was in jail. The Grand Fleet has to see the smaller card and will make it to Wano

Picture all Brooks sword techniques powered up like how they were when Zoro fought him. Brook and Ryuma seem connected and would be cool to see Brook's devil fruit be able to channel his power to help fight a dragon in Wano.

Although I am a strong believer in the list that you talked being the most likely outcome I do think there could be a few other possibilities. One possibility would be 8 of Oden original 9 with Zoro replacing one of them. I have a whole theory around this I'll hopefully post at another time.
Another possibility I thought of includes Momo in some way. Something will happen that will make him a capable fighter. Maybe he is aged by someone power or something happens with his fake devil fruit or the reaveal of an hidden power that he always possessed.
In these scenarios I see the Shogun and his forces being brought down by the nine while Kaido and the Animal Kingdom pirates are handled by Luffy and others seperately
Luffy will be close to death in jail and his Vivre Card will start burning leading the Grand Fleet come to help for the final battle.

And it's perfect. Ace gave Luffy his vivre card and Luffy saw it while Ace was in jail. The Grand Fleet has to see the smaller card and will make it to Wano
