Stunning. My wife and I have returned to 009 with the recent RTR rolling stock available. Our last completed 009 layout was Newton Halt. Our new one is going to be a freelance Ffestiniog layout structurally similar to the one recently completed by the Hornby magazine staff. We will look to create the OOO factor that Tan y lynn provides. Brilliant stuff.
Sounds great, best of luck with the build! I must confess that Tan y Llyn was a big influence on what I'm hoping to achieve in my own layout, which I really must get back to doing more work on!
The main scenic area is 7'3" by 2', whilst the terminus and fiddleyard is 8'6" by 1'; they are arranged in an L shape. If you can find a copy, the track plan is in the June 2017 Railway Modeller
Without doubt one the finest layout I've seen especially the senery. Top marks.
Agreed, I rather wished I could have taken it home with me!
Fantastic real scenery makes this a delight to watch...
I really wanted to pack it up and take it home with me! 😀

I was really looking forward to seeing this one before the show, and it did not disappoint!
