Bigger price than you think. The Russians wanted to take over Europe, they planned to "liberate" France and go to the ocean, but because of the fight for Hungary the Americans managed to reach Germany and draw the line there.
@@Zodroo_Tint Late response but by the time the soviets were in budapest the allies were deep in germany and could have taken berlin if the soviets didint attack it first
I appreciate all of the time you spent just getting your defenders into their set up locations. Not sure I would really want to spend my time doing this. I generally played Panzer General and Panzer General 2 where you already had preset defensive locations. Played some other games with option to do defensive set up. Just didn't have the patience to deal with it, and there were a lot less troops to deal with than this one you are doing. So kudos to you. Enjoy watching your videos, although sometimes you're moving and talking so fast that I can't keep up.
Dániel Kovács on the 29th of october the battle of Debrecen just ended and the Soviets reached Budapest on 7 november and wouldn't encircle the Germans and Hungarians ti'll the 29th of december
Grünball actually the soviets launched the main offensive toward the capital on 29th of october and the first units reached the city limits by the beginning of november. In the video its the outskirt of Budapest and the prepare itself proves , that it must be before those first units arrival. And besides november is in fall too :D
And have you seen the VIDEO yet ?? Its about building the defense, outside the city. And besides have you ever seen a city without buildings, roads, etc. ???? Its obviously the OUTSKIRT. Why is it so hard to understand and carry on this argue ??? Im done with you, sir.

As far as your fall tracks and armored cars... put them in reserve.... if you get an infantry break through you can send the light armor... the 222 you have was deadly with its 20mm.
Your defense set up is all sorts of fine. I'm looking forward to the battle. Have you considered putting a Panther in one of the large divets on the left flank in a sort of hull-down position? I figure it could provide low cover and a decent flanking shot. Play as you will though, I'll enjoy it regardless.
Ok... now I know that you have done this before I saw it but just a suggestion... next time you think you need to place a tiger 2 think of the delayed position... place it out of site but near a spot that if you need it it can move when you find a good target or need.
for me raptor i rather to use at mine at the fornt and the ap mine behind it because tank will not advance and if there is some infantry are breaking at mines they will get hit by the ap mines just my opinion lads

Half tracks are a waste of time, I prefer to dismount crew, take the mg, ammo and dynamite out and obviously use them as extra infantry, i like to send them a sniper too, use his ammo crate to keep them all supplied

Since it isn't snowing i think this is spring 1945 because budapest was sieged between 26 december 1944 to 13 febuary 1945
