We decided to drive non stop 1049 KM, from Mumbai to Bhillai in Chhattisgarh. On the way we passed by Samrudhi mahamarg which is the distance and time cutter between Mumbai and Nagpur.
Since this road of Samruddhi mahamarg is ligve from Shirdi to Nagpur. hence, we travelled from Mumbai to Shirdi to nagpur non stop and there on carried our non stop trip to Bhilai in chattisgarh.

Nice video, but Bhai saheb, please do not check and adjust tyre pressure after the vehicle has run so much. The heat will cause the tyre pressure to go up and that is natural. The recommended tyre pressures by the manufacturer are cold tyre pressure and if you find that after driving 100 kms, your tyre pressure is more than recommended and you reduce it, then your tyres are actually under inflated and please remember, an underinflated tyre will heat up more than an overinflated one due to excessive sidewall movement and is even more likely to burst.
The Samruddhi expressway saves a lot of time, but MDRDC built concrete highways are always rough and the expansion joints will be bumpy unlike the NHAI built ones ...

Did not release the tyre pressure with your recommendation. Seems it was fine. But can you guide how to check the highest pressure tyre can take ?
Only worry is the tyre burst. Though tyre conditions are good for my car but I still wanted to be safe !!
@@TravidictionNormal tire pressure is usually between 32-40 psi when they are cold. So make sure you check your tire pressure after a long stay and usually, you can do it in the early morning.

I am not an expert.. but you shouldn't be adjusting the tyre pressure like this.. it will cut the life of your tyre.. the tyre pressure mentioned on your car door is the recommended level.. however the tyre can take much more, this 'max' pressure is mentioned on the wall of your tyre.. check the tyre pressure when you start your journey when the tyre is much cooler and top up based on the recommmended psi (usually mentioned on the door)... Your tyre pressure is bound to increase when you drive as air heats up and expands, again the tyre is designed to exceed the mentioned psi as long as it is within the max pressure...
All the above being said do watchout for any old wear and tear and fix those...
As for Nitrogen it is over rated and doesn't help much unless it's free😁, most tyre experts would agree.. Happy Driving 😊
Recommended is 33 with 2 passengers. But due to heat it was going in range of 40. Tyre was around 23,000 km old.
So, avoided risk of brust, if not modulated it had gone in range of 60. Not sure of max pressure, have to check the tyre wall (thanks for the info)
I never filled nitrogen majorly coz of school book knowledge ,😉 "air contains 78% nitrogen" and you are correct it's not free. Being highway driver I don't get nitrogen everywhere so i stick to air !
Even in our return had to release pressure coz at a point it went upto 48
@@TravidictionThis is the standard mistake that people make. Tyre pressure going to 40 from 30 after driving a few hundred km is natural and is factored in by the manufacturer. By reducing the tyre pressure , you are running with underinflated tyres and have an increased risk of a tyre burst.
Bro I have traveled on Samruddhi 2 times till now. I suggest you to fill Air pressure 2 points less than regular. In my car normal is 32 so i keep air pressure at 30 before doing long journey in summer season. And 1 more suggestion if you are sure you have ample petrol pumps in your journey then don't fill petrol more than 50 or 60 % of total tank capacity. fuel tank is at bottom and keeping less fuel in tank make car center makes lighter by almost 25-30 kgs, this may not sound that interesting but my personal driving experience was enhanced when I kept fuel tank less than 50-60%.

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes agree with you on tyre pressure bit. In this hot season it keeps on adding with distance at speed of 120.
Never thought of the fuel tank but but logically you are 100% correct. Lower weight means better efficiency!!

I bought Michelin double barrel manual Tyre inflator. I bought it long back.
If you are buying now, go for something USB based. So that you don't need to pump like me when the pressure is low.

Hi, How is your experience with the Air pump? Even I'm planning to buy one.
The one I am using is very good. Only disadvantage is that, it is manual. So it needs 8-10 full pressure pedalling for 10 point update !!
What is the ADAS mode you added? Did you purchase it separately? Is it different from the cruise control?

Yes, I felt so during one of my early morning drive & removing goggles actually helps. but this time sun was too bright. So we changed hands as we were 2 drivers

Yes, but you will have some pain Nagpur onwards!!
Alternative route is via Hyderabad & Odisha, which is a bit long
Please follow speed limits strictly, samruddhi expressway is not a track to test speed on open stretch.. you will consider things casually but if anything goes wrong 130-160 speed then you won't be able to control it

Samruddhi mahamarg k 90% accidents tyre knwahas se hue hai.. so it was important.
FYI - Always maintain as per door indication.

Doesn’t slavia come with TPMS which can help you to monitor tyre pressure
It's not a full TPMS which informs tyre pressure.
It gives an warning in case there is a tyre pressure drop.
Always check air in cold tyre. Hot tyre gives wrong readings
Tyre blast type situation is something which makes us check it repeatedly
Hi can you mark the locations for fuel station on samruddhi? I am planning to take te same journey very soon, and my car only has 400km of range on a full tank.

Hi, i have already added the first fuel stop in the description box.
After that I found 3 more pumps, but did not record the location.
I guess, for second pump you have to follow road signs, which will not be difficult as they have done good marking

In my view, start early around 3-4 am from Mumbai and try to take first break at Bhilai, Chhatisgarh. You will get hotels on the highway, plus you cover max in day 1
I20 N line is a good & powerful car and you should easily sail to Kolkata. I have owned i20 Elite petrol earlier with 1.2 litre naturally aspirated engine
