Ok, this lady here is not just a boss hair slayer the bold hold is everything she's speaking on. I got mine in the mail 2 days ago and I love love love it!!!! Thanks for being turn
Learned how to safely protect Ur edges, slay lace and look cute whilst doing it. It products are hard to come by ,and even harder to get the genuine. My bestie had the jelly and it was a dream to work with. Melted the lace like a hot knife through butter.!
I learned using liquid gold to seal the cab instead of hairspray , I also learned that make- up has a oil in it to go over the hairline again and apply liquid gold. My birthday is August 19 and I really want to wear a wig on my birthday….I don’t want anything permanent and I purchased liquid gold a couple months ago and I’m really excited that I know the proper way to install my wig.💛💛💛💛 l
Using the skin protection 2-3 layers to protect the skin is important. Learning how to apply lace tint correctly. I’m a brown girl as well this video was amazing
The beautiful Ashley, the wig looks great on you.😍 I love your products, the lace tape, and Liquid Gold are my favorites. The tape is less messy to me in comparison to the glue when I remove it. I hope you do a tour through Europe again soon. We need your products in the Netherlands. Learned a lot from you. Thank you😘😘
I don’t have hair so I’m not worried about protecting it BUT if I ever do anyone else’s hair I for sure learned not to put any on anyone’s edges/hair and I also learned that you can add the bold hold on top of the cap before you put the tape on to help it adhere more . Precious gems . Thank you!
One thing I learned from you & only you is how important it is to apply the skin protectant. Before when I would apply my wigs I would get bad outbreaks along my hairline 😷 it was so bad until I start to use the skin protectant. Thank you for that product!
Another great instructional video. For me, one of the drawbacks/pitfalls to wearing frontals is how far forward you have to place the wig to avoid placing glue on your hair. I never considered using the tape as a barrier on the cap to prevent the glue from seeping through to my hair and allow for a more natural placement of the wig. Ingenious! Thank you for sharing
I’ve learned that I could put active on my tape. Tape is my best friend, it’s so simple however when I cut the tape in smaller pieces , I have the hardest time removing the white part off… Chile . But once I get it off , it’s gives me life . Liquid gold is great for seal my cap & my baby hair . The tape has last for awhile a week , maybe longer especially since I can put active on top…great idea , 🙏. Oh yeah, what the name of the lipgloss /lipstick on young woman in video? I must have it!!
This!!!! I love this method!!! I am currently trying to repair my edges after years of applying my lace units the wrong way!! My edges got stressed and began to thin! They are growing back now, and I wanna keep it that way. I have your glues, liquid gold , the skin protectant, and im about get some tape. I learned about DMDM I had no clue about this ingredient or how damaging the sprays were
Make sure you seal the cap. Do not put glue on anyone hair. Make sure you use the skin protect to create a barrier between your bodily fluids such as sweat from your lace.. Using skin protect
Omg!!! This is my first time seeing the tape and I’m sooo amazed!!!! This video thought me a lot, that I do not need to put glue on the bald cap (I do this sometimes), it can get to the clients natural hair. I also like this tape application and learned that with the tape on, I’m able to spread the glue evenly and not get it on the hair at all!!! If the glue stays off, the clients hair is protected. Thank you so much for all this knowledge @habbys_hair_corner
I learned not to use regular alcohol to preclean my skin with alcohol, beauty supplies are slanging fake bold hold w/DMDM , and that I use to much adhesive ... a little goes a long way . @eaujoyelle
Gorgeous!!! I have been trying to order the Bold Hold Liquid Gold for weeks but it's still sold out! Good for you! glad you're doing so well. Looking forward to getting my order in. What are the details and where is that beautiful blonde wig from please?🔥😻
What if you not using glue just the LG to secure the wig? Still can do tape .this was just to protect from glue of using correct..i see skin protect after tape 👍
I’m granmilf on Instagram, I have all your products , I must say the tape has always been my favorite, when you came out with liqiudgold that became the next , I only purchase from you , and always watch your videos thanks as always
I learned that hairspray can be damaging to your hairline & DONT ever put glue on your edges is a no go we want to keep the edges that we got !! Wow this install came out so bomb even with tape !!❤️ I’m definitely gonna get that liquid gold so no more hairspray !! My ig handle @joiaaa21
Will a synthetic wig that has no lace ..will it seal down with LG or jelly altho no lace ?i Ben wanting k no i Don t want waist product if not ..cause no lace to lay? If im making sense thanks
Have u ever just put cap on fold the edges and not seal it and then secured wig 😂 i know sound crazy just curious or will cap roll off or back and b moving thanks for answer to craziness 👍
The tape is temporary but you can put bold hold on top to really secure it in yes u can get it wet last 2-3 weeks love this in no dryer needed I need also if turns white u put to much I do normally use a towel wet to if residue left @detroit_barbie
belle_est1988 I learned the bald cap Method to protect the lil Edges I have left as well and how to properly apply tape cuz I was definitely applying it to my hair 😢
I learned that you do not need to put glue on your bald cap also to stop using spray bc it contains ingredients that are not good for your edges. I also learned that I can use the bold hold liquid to hold my cap down - ig handle is @mywalkismeann
My bad I was supposed to leave a comment talking bout what I learned, I definitely learned about making sure they’re slicked back but I love the gelly for that so I’ve been using it for that but I don’t use a blow dryer so I’m gonna add that and see if it makes things a little easier. @kibibrown
Woww never know using the hairspray to lay it down was damaging. Seen that in so many peoples video, glad to be watching a true boss that’s a genius. Learning to properly seal the cap and melting the lace is ideal while protecting our skin. Love learning from you! @paradisecoves_
I'm soooooo happy you done the video with tape and glue because I purchased the tape and its been sitting and I'm about to do an install tomorrow and I'm going to try it for the first time so this video is clutch right now.. so thank u.. Ashley girl.... u r wearing this wig girl, it ain't wearing u PERIOD!!!! It looks FLAWLESS on u sis!!!! I love it... such a beautiful colour you did that wit this one!!!! I also learned the liquid gold is better to use when laying your cap down instead of glue because it can potentially pull your hair or break it off. Also the tape protects form the glue on the hair when laying your cap down as well.. im forever learning the RIGHT WAY of things when I watch you so thank you for all the info!!! jasmineb_84
I definitely learned alot Auntie!!! A few things that stick out is using liquid gold to lay the cap instead of g2b, hairspray, or glue to avoid damage to hair. Use safe products without alcohol. Also dont put glue on the hair! Only on skin! So I'll be using those tips next time for sure! Also stay away from dmdm in products. I have the jelly, liquid gold, and active. Cant wait to get the Bold Hold Tape & Maxx!!!! @momoneynoproblems
I learned that you don’t use alcohol on your hair or it’ll damage your edges. Also that if you use makeup you need one more layer because it’s oil based. Instagram: kissablekay__
My IG: @tavieloveproductions This video stressed the importance of healthy hair and using products that are safe and effective. Using Bold hold liquid gold is better than using the hair spray because it does not contain alcohol which can irritate one skin. I order to secure the unit and protective cap layer bold hold adhesive tape on top of the cap and liquid gold. The tape will provide extra protection to the hair line and assist in keep the glue off your hairline while securing the unit. It is important to use thin layers of glue which will ensure a secure firm hold as well speed up dry time. The blow dryer will not be effective against heavy layers of glue that can not dry effectively and will cause build up of your not using the cap, Liquid gold, bold hold tape, glue layering method.
Now I definitely see why Bold Hold Liquid Gold is the safest option to seal the cap, it contains the product DMDM. Hair spray contains alcohol so it can be harmful to the skin. #gotit 😍 IG:@redchynahairstylist
Ashley has really grown to be a beautiful young lady. She went from combing doll’s hair in the shop to making wigs. Meanwhile I’m still trying to learn how to properly install my wig. Lol! I’ve been using liquid gold and the jelly to attach my wigs so that I don’t have to worry about it getting on my hair. I learned that when someone installs my wig, glue shouldn’t be placed so far back on my hair. It shouldn’t be on my hair period! After placing the tape in the desired position, a very thin layer of glue should be applied for a stronger hold. I also learned that the liquid gold can be used to place the cap instead of glue. Coka_Kohla
I’ve learned so much from this video 💖 I have Alopecia and appreciated when you said to put glue on top of the tape and in front of the cap. Back in high school, I had a bad experience with a beautician. While doing my hair for prom, she put glue all over my scalp (w/o a wig cap) and the glue ripped off my skin when it was time to remove the wig. Thankfully my skin grew back, but this is an important tip not to use so much glue. From there is when my mom & I discovered double-sided tape. I’m excited to try yours! Also, I love how the skin protect is built to protect you from sweating, and helps secure the wig install. I can’t wait to buy these products! @__ebonyjean
I learned that I can use the liquid gold to lay down my cap and how to seal the cap with the liquid gold once cut and make-up/lace tint applied. Thank you for providing these videos! @maxismith02
I learned a lot and this video was a good refresher! IG name - chalonda_mrshicks. #1- You can seal your cap AND lay your edges with the Liquid Gold at the same time. #2 Don't put glue on your edges #3 You can use the tape and glue on top of each other not just glue in some areas and then tape. #4 If adding makeup to cap, sometimes the makeup can contain oil, so it's safe to go and reapply a little more Liquid Gold on top cap to secure. #5 ALWAYS use skin protect to help protect your skin from from irritation, but keeps your skin from being sensitive unlike alcohol.
I learned to use safer products like Bold Hold Liquid Gold to hold down my cap and lace. I was always wondering why my forehead would feel raw after using some products and realized they were full of alcohol! // ig: @earthtojam
Greetings!! I’ve learned how to properly use the Bold hold lace tape as a layer to protect your your edges. I’ve had the tape forever but never really understood how to use it properly. @cocobunni_wild1
