This all is very good, but it’s much better to build quality hospitals, quality schools, bridges, universities, colleges, motorways and roads. And a proper railway system. And proper housing projects for the homeless and poor. Then Pakistan can enjoy conspicuous consumption. Yes, there is nothing wrong with buying nice cars and house in Pakistan, but these things are meaningless if the country is bankrupt and keeps begging other countries for bailouts.
First build Pakistans economy that is strong and attracts foreign investors collect taxes from all citizens, reduce your national debt, build your foreign reserves to 150 billion pay off your debts, create jobs increase your GDP and PPP, distribute wealth equally, punish corrupt politicians properly, implement proper rule of law where all citizens are equal under the laws, eradicate bribery totally as if it never existed.
The upper class and upper middle class of Pakistan should understand that once you go out of your comfort zone in Pakistan all you see it poverty and misery everywhere. What peace of mind and achievement is there in having to witness that? That 120 million people of Pakistan are living in poverty and misery?
With the state the Pakistan is now, even the middle classes are leaving. Doctors, cancer specialists, engineers, bankers, highly skilled professionals are leaving Pakistan. Then who are you going to sell there cars to when there is nobody left in Pakistan?
Build Pakistans economy first.

Real reason not importing UK cars: Japanese import are way cheaper than same varient in UK. This is now common in UK to import EU manufectures cars back to UK as prices in UK market are way higher. So when he says its better from Japan its only market prices are way attractive from Japan for cars that are made in Germany or UK and exported to Japan when new.
Post Covid market in used car market in UK hasnt recovered and still too high for used cars.
