Another great video. I'd love to see a video showing all the cases/bags you take on a typical shoot, and how you pack the car with them for travelling.

Caleb, another great video. I chuckled at the "C-47 clips." Oldsters like me would call those clothespins. We used to hang our skivvies up on the clothesline in the backyard with them. But since there are relatively few clotheslines anymore, they have become C-47 clips. (Bet they cost about 4 times as much too!) I'm sure clothespins are before your time - lucky you!

4 years later they're a dollar store item. Probably even cheaper if you buy them in bulk.

I'd also add mini-DP to HDMI adapter so you can output from a Mac to any monitor. This can be great for making a ghetto prompter solution.
I also buy rolls of velcro (hook on one side loop on the other). I prefer it over rope or paracord for cable management, but it can be used in a thousand way. Ditto that for zip ties. Heck for the price of one roll of gaff I can have a lifetime of zip ties.
Yeah it isnt standard production shizzle, but production on a shoelace often means wearing all the hats.

This was awesome. Thanks for sharing! I've been in the industry for 10 years now and I still find this stuff helpful.

Just throwing this out here: HDMI can (usually) only run about 20' without an in-line signal booster... You can buy longer cable, but it's usually a scam. Thanks for the great video, very helpful!

I have a super cheap super quality 50 feet cable with little lumps on the each beginning, is that what you are referring to? If so what's wrong having that? No one's gonna need that long for a very fragile rig and every other thing won't mind that little thing, so I fail to see your point.

I learned that after 20meters you are verging problema

You're correct. HDMI is a consumer standard. Anything over 10 to 15 feet and you're asking for problems. It depends on your camera though. Some camera can use longer cables. But if you have pro cameras you won't be using hdmi anyway

Handy list! A lot of that stuff is so inexpensive and easy to find, but can make a huge difference! Great video!

Great video. Do you think you can provide with a link to the 1/4 20 male studs you are using with the 2 inch Spring clamps?

Many thanks, I been tryin to find out about "wedding video production rates" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Piyason Videographic Ventures - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some decent things about it and my friend got great results with it.

#1 tool: buy a REAL video camera. NOT one with SHITTY HDMI outputs!
