A recent shipment of Frank Beltrame 11" Buffalo Horn Bayonet Blade Swing Guards are on the market... but they're around $200 from the websites I've seen.
@@Everything-switchblades The original Japanese made brass button Rizzy examples were gone by the early 80's, replaced with generic ones made in Taiwan... those can be distinguished by their flat button and rough plastic scales.
@@scottdunn2178 yes rizzutos have been gone. But AKC hasn’t made real Italian switchblades in maybe 10 years or so and are pretty rare now. Most of them are clones now but this one is definitely real.

I think that is just that particular one. I have one with red scales and it doesn't stick out near as far. And honestly, you're not going to be "using" this knife alot. Its more of a decorative or show piece. The only "use" I get out of mine is opening mail and packages.

why the spring mechanism stick out while open? I like the everything about the knife except that my hand would rub against that when I use it a lot

Only AGA Campolin’s stilettos have the spring partially exposed. On Frank Beltrame’s stilettos the spring is flush with the handle/liners.
I have an AKC swinguard also and the spring sticks out of the handle too. Some of them just do that
