This is a video of my private fossil museum, which I'm putting up for sale. The contents are for sale individually or as a whole. The museum is located in the eastern Midwest of the United States.
I had to laugh when he said " if there's anything you see you might be interested in " I almost spit coffee through my nose , because i was foaming at the mouth as soon as i got a glance inside . What a lucky man to have such beautiful treasures. I didn't see anything i wouldn't be interested in , it's all beautiful . Thank you for showing us this wonderful collection . 😎👍
If i wasn't retired , and could afford it i would absolutely love to have these , any of them . Very impressive , a lifetime of collecting I'm sure .. Many i have never seen , even in pictures .. 👍👍
A note from the new owners of this collection: With the passing of the original owner, the entire collection will be sold as a single purchase. If there is no buyer, the individual pieces will be sold at a later date. This collection is the result of a very impassioned collector, and it took him decades of work. There are NO black market pieces and very, very few reproductions. The exceptions are the obvious ones, like the Mosasaurus jaws (teeth are real, jaw is an inlay). As noted in the video, a select few trilobites have been enhanced with spines. There are very few of those. There are probably a thousand more pieces in storage which will be cataloged and offered at the same time. The contact information on the video is no longer active. The new contact information will be posted once the entire inventory has been fully documented. Interested buyers will have access to a memory stick and a full accounting of the inventory.A special thanks to all of you who have posted comments or had questions, and/or concerns as to the items shown. We look forward to comments and suggestions once the new website has been created.

Wow what a magnificent collection! Why in the world are you selling them? I hope you are okay you obviously have a great love 4 these fossils! I wish I had enough money to purchase some of them they look absolutely spectacular! Thank you so much for sharing them!
He told you the ones that were composited. The trilobites with the spikes sticking up he explained were added, but the body of the creatures are the real deal.
I would certainly be interested in purchasing a couple items if and when an auction takes place. Hopefully, we can here about it just before it happens.
Don’t know if this is still on the market but I’m wondering if you have any Dinosaur eggs and if so how much and which dinosaur did the egg come from ??? Please respond Thanks .
What is the price of the fish fossil of the minute 0:30 , What is the price of the ammonite conches of the minute 1:08 , What is the price of trilobite with thorns of minute 1:10 .
Hello. I'm sorry to see that you must sell becouse of failing health. What a wonderful collection! Would be interested in a few items if you are presently selling. Please pm me. Thank you.
Hi I have a collection im selling ,i have a full captorhinus, some fish like the ones in the frame ,an Oreodont skull ,cave bear claw ,saw fish rostrum (c1900) and lots of other pieces .Do you know the best way to sell them ?
Jeremiah Rutledge actually I know as I know multiple palaeontologists and I am actually very good with knowing fakes from reals. A LOT of them are fake including all the cambropallas trilobites and the spiny trilobites (said in the vid they are fake) and ALL of the mosasaur jaws and Enchodus jaws are fake plus the crocodile skull is reconstructed and a lot of the other fossils are fake too. I’m not jealous as I have lots of fossils too (maybe not as many but still thousands). So actually he’s not being a dick and he is correct. No point in arguing as my palaeontologist friends have seen the video and say a lot is fake.
Hi I'm watching this because I have a full captorhinus, an Oreodont skull , cave bear claw,19th century saw fish rostrum and many other pieces (a large alligator skull).Im really unsure of how to sell them .I would really appreciate some advice, from someone who knows about fossils. I hope its OK to ask.

Wow! That is an amazing collection.
A lot of these look either fake or all composited. Not all but definitely some of those large trilobites.
He told you the ones that were composited. The trilobites with the spikes sticking up he explained were added, but the body of the creatures are the real deal.

You can't. He hasn't uploaded a video in 8 years, and this video is from 2011. He was in poor health at that time so my guess is he no longer alive.

Video is from 2011, and the man was in poor health back then, so my guess is that he may not answer you.
How much are your meg teeth?
"Private Fossil Museum"? it looks to me like a Black Market
Won't the Smithsonian or other institutions purchase these?

@@tccgaming3735 thx for backing me up
@@tccgaming3735 He didn't say anything was fake, he said the spines on the trilobites were added later as they do not ever survive fossilization.
