I’ve seen many a version of Sister Act, and this Deloris is right up there with The Patina Miller. What a range! What control! The talent! I really hope she continues on, cause she’ll be a star.
I'm not sure where she is now, but music has always been a big part of her life and I think it always will be. I was lucky enough to be in choir and drama club with her in middle school and high school. I wasn't in Sister Act but I really enjoyed watching it.
@@ThexthSurvivorOP probably meant they saw the iterations of the show as it was being developed. There was the initial version/pre-Bway that was at the Pasadena Playhouse, then the show moved to the West End to test out even more kinks, before the current version which is the Broadway version.
If this was a HS production, it is marvelous. Excellent Deloris! Love this musical. I have directed local productions in So Cal twice. Great fun. Fabulous baby.
I was gonna play Eddie but my schools band needed a saxophone player so I stood back and it's so fun the music is some of the most difficult thing I've ever played
Delores has such a powerful voice! With some extra training and some changes to music tempos and she could have fooled me (some songs were too fast pacing it seemed). Amazing!
I have seen many other Deloris I enjoy when she got to the nuns place and all her seance and lines too. This specific deloris is one of the best other people who played her, there are totally awesome same way as this performer playing delirious
Obviously it’s too late for your production since I’m just now seeing this 10 months after you commented, but if you keep working on your voice and your range you can work yourself up to it 😊
I’m playing as Pablo and the Pablo in this play has no idea what he’s doing 😂 He should’ve gotten some help with pronunciation instead of brushing it off. To me, he didn’t really score his role which is sad because he had very nice comedic timing
Why don't have this not much more likes? Such strong voices. Mostly good acting and nice choreos. They could have put more work on the stage design and lights.
this is our next production in school and i have no idea which role to go for. can someone give me the names of main characters that have lines with a little description?
I'm Catholic and my school chose this for our musical. I don't honestly know what to think because there are definitely a few demeaning or harsh parts against my faith but I'm hoping it will turn out well. ❤

Brezney Lyon Dang. 🤷🏽♂️ I'm just quoting my drama teacher. My friend, who was cast as Deloris, is also white, but she has the best voice out of everyone in the class.
I’m at an all girls school and I’m playing Eddie in our production- my first musical and I’m terrified! Any tips for females playing male parts and singing male songs?

Literally nowhere in the script does it say that any character had to be a specific race (except Pablo/Dinero)
Cygus Lorman 🤔Actually... there are multiple lines referring to Deloris being black and no replacement lines in the script for them so...
