I know there have been ice ages and shifts in climates all throughout geological history, but theres never been the damage that we humans have done to the earth through our waste and pollution, and whether or not we have caused THIS global warming, we sure as hell caused a lot of waste in the ground, in our water, in the air - and that's something we can all admit is a problem that exists, and one that is easily, through just a little effort, solved
Just because his car has more cylinders doesn't mean it creates more exhaust gases. with a car like that More power means you can drive at a lower RPM creating less polution that a alot of 4 cylinder cars that are running at a much faster rate.
i feel so sad for john. he seems to be misunderstood most of the time because he' so deep and highly intellegent. he wanted for people to be genuinely interested in what he had to say but instead he was treated just like another celebrity sighting..he seems to be pretty lonely too. and he also almost always wears black..i would't be surprised if he's feeling miserable inside
Hey all - I don't mind you debating the artistic and ecological merits of John Mayer (or Dave Matthews, or whomever), but--as I have just done--I'll remove your comments if you write personal or disparaging insults about each other.
im not really bothered by the environment but that comment is relatively groundless. just because the car has more cylinders doesnt mean it can run at constant lower revs...i think youll find a 4/8/10/12 cylinder car will do 60 kph or so at a simmilar engine speed. just need to look at consumption to realise this.
Man, I don't get you guys. I thought he articulated his points very clearly. Yeah, he is a celebrity. But at least he has substance and the intelligence to get that across. The only thing I didn't like was the awkwardness at the end... lol
I love how John just totaly turn the tables and instaid of asnwering questions asks the questions to the press.
I could listen to that man read a grocery list...hahaha...god i love his voice!
You are absolutely correct :) Exactly my thoughts!
i think the guy at the end made john realize how most people werent concerned and were only there to see John Mayer in person
There’s an extended version of this where he has mic feedback and he yells Batman! And it’s funny as shit but I can’t find it! 😂😂😂
Man i feel bad for Mayer here, he feels very strongly about this, and it seems to me that no one really cares.
Ahaha, that was Aasif Mandvi from the Daily Show at the end. They aired just that clip yesterday. LOL that was hilarious.
And John's a legend too.
i loved his analogies. what a guy.
that last "question" must have been so awkward for him. tehe
guys that Asif mandvi from the daily show , it came on the daily show about a year ago !!!!!

LLOVE the Vodka publicity "Absolut" in the background, it TOTALLY applies

yes but your leaving it way to open to variations, sure they'll drive at the same engine speed at the same driving speed in different gears
He is GOD
I thought he gets all mad and throws a F BOMB?
At the end... .John is asking a question. and that guy just says IM A BIG FAN. wtf
you can't have both a supercharger and a "twin turbo" on a the same motor.
What was yelled from the crowd at 1:26??

I think the dude is a brilliant artist, esp guitarist but I agree, hard to sell the whole climate thing when he cruises around in a v12 mercedes.
except for: he hasnt bought a new car in 4 years and all his tour busses use biofuel, an ultimate cut at his bottom line
Yeah. Elvis ws 1 generation, the beatles anuva n mayer is ours...
@Odiosus90 ur obsessed...
i don't really believe in global warming. but better to be safe than sorry. if you could be healthier why wouldn't you
why don't you believe in global warming
yeah
why not try to cut down our resources used.
You can say we dont NEED to, but hey it might help with our environment.
